  • PLEASE DO NOT MAKE MECHA REQUESTS!!! I will make videos of what I feel like!
That said...let me get started! This is my 100th video!!!
This is my video of the DX Daizyujin [DX 大獣神]. The main Mecha for the duration of Zyuranger, Daijyujin is made up of five individual robots. Each robot is modeled off of the animal/creature that each Zyuranger is based on.
My Daizyujin is a somewhat variant version of the version normally seen. Mine comes in not one, but three seperate boxes.
    1: Tyrannosaurus
    2: Zyumammoth & Pteranodon
    3: Triceratops & Sabertiger
    1: ティラノザウルス
    2: ジューマンモス & プテラノドン
    3: トリケラトプス & サーベルタイガー
Oddly enough, the less common sets seem to go for alot less money than the single boxed Daizyujin. In the end, you get the exact same toy.
The toy itself is a mix of good and...well not 'bad' but lame. I think the main thing that drags this toy down is it's lack of detail. The biggest example of this is Sabertiger's mouth. It's completely shut! My god. Not only is this toy made in Japan like all other great toys of the era, but it was long before production shifted to China/Thailand. This toy should be awesome in every respect! Aside from that, there are some scale issues. Some of the decals look incredibly tacky aswell.
Positives are abundant too. The face sculpt is dead on. The Kyoryu ken Godhorn [恐竜剣ゴッドホーン] is as awesome as any deathblowing sword should be. Dinotanker [獣戦車ダイノタンカー] Mode is one of the best Tank modes of any Mecha toy of all time IMO [I know, that's not saying much...there aren't many of them]. This toy also has some leg articulation thanks to the Tyrannosaurus being the base Robot and the Dinotanker Mode.
In all, my complaints are trivial. I enjoy this toy alot. It's a very colorful Mecha without being harsh on the eyes.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers saw Daizyujin as the very first Megazord. This toy was brought to American Markets basically "as-is" to the Japanese release. The only real differences being some decal changes [which are noticeable...and baffling] and the dull-edged Power Sword. There was also only a single boxed release. Yeah, thats all really...
Thank you for watching my very first Mecha video! I really don't want to call this a review...because it really isn't. A semi-review.
Please check out my Myspace Blog. I give thanks to you, the viewer, for watching 100 videos of mine. blog.myspace.co...
Be sure to subscribe to my videos today! I've made 100 videos now and i'm not stopping!
    See ya next time!
P.S. I did not do the Dino Tanker formation based on how it is done in the series. I did it in a way where I could take minimal pictures and still have a noticeable visual change to the toy. Otherwise...it would've been way too hard and way too long.
