If he wins, Trump will allow Marjorie Taylor Greene and the MAGA Extremist to place Social Security into the yearly budget battle. To be voted on by members of Congress. Which will also have a yearly review of every recipient. This means your doctor must affirm your continued need to collect SSI payments....Retirees who collect the monthly benfit checks will have to submit a financial statement (Yearly to the SS) which will then be used to determine if you quaify for an increse or a "DECREASE" in that monthly payment.

Kinzinger was our Rep. for his entire time in Congress. I was giving him H for a long while about the rotten direction the party was taking & I was very happily surprised when he finally agreed, He was never a waffling Conservative, he was GOP all the way until the GOP made that impossible. Being inside, I know he must have seen and heard things that were really alarming. To his credit, he spoke up and pushed back. It's disgusting to me to see the party I grew up with turn into spineless cowards who allow the grifters, liars and lunatics to use them as doormats. I don't vote for doormats. Vote blue all down the ballot.

I am glad that Kinzinger is endorsing Biden. When I saw the news I was pleasantly surprised. The thing I'm trying to figure out is what Kinzinger is going to do next (governor, senator, president). I think four years as governor and then running for president is the most likely answer. I'd love to see a Kinzinger defeat Greg Abbott in 2026.
