@@jermarule34 you don't get tetanus from rust. Tetanus comes from spores on pretty much any type of surface outside. Anything that isnt exposed to the outdoors will almost never(i would say totally never) be a risk for tetanus.

Lightbulbs don’t emit UV light and glass is opaque to UV (that’s why you can’t get sunburnt inside), so unless you keep this outside the UV light won’t be a problem
The thing that gets me is there's plenty of solutions that also look nice and perform the same idea, better. Like the toothpaste that comes in pumps or the dispensers that you attach to the tube.

That is why welders wear glass masks/goggles while welding bcs welding produced infrared and ultraviolet rays which are harmful to eyes. But using glass goggles, their eyes are protected. Same is the reason why you don't get a sunburn while you're behind a glass window. Glass doesn't let most of the uv penetrate

First off my dentist told me it's safe to do this, he said the toothpaste being exposed to light thing is totally based on what toothpaste you use (I use sesodyne whitening or whatever that one is) and the whole mixing the mouth wash and toothpaste together is a lie because what do you do when you use them together anyway? Inside your mouth they mix up, plus the hack isn't for being "trendy" I have crippling arthritis and in the morning this makes it easier for me too brush my teeth as I use to avoid it until after dinner, I use it around the same time as I used too so saving money isn't really additional and I have a fresher breath nowadays so?
Putting your toothpaste, in the clear soap dispensers actually bad because the reason toothpaste is not a clear too is because there chemicals in it that reacts differently to sunlight, and then that’ll cause your toothpaste to not do what it does in the normal tube
There is a good reason no one has ever made a product that mixed these together.
Mouthwash in itself shouldn’t really be used.

The UV exposure also completely depends on the environment. In a bathroom with LED bulbs it will get very little if any.
There have been dentists reacting to this trend who have also said it’s fine, idk what this guys talking about.
