This news story makes it sound like finding someone who speaks Chinese in California is as difficult as finding a translator for Klingons.
Qaplá.
It happened overnight, the police are probably required to use officially sanctioned translators and couldn’t find any at 3 in the morning or whatever it was
Google translator isn't that accurate when it comes to translating speech.

3 chinese women fighting with a japanese sword?... something is wrong
Someone had some unfinished business in that neighborhood.
I guess this is the weapon of choice when she couldn't get a gun . @@matthewparker8607
not really, the swords are just better and more readily available.
@@livetechsupport909 An Ignorant statement for sure. Firstly... Most Japanese swords, are what you call "Mall Swords".. made of Dull Stainless Steel (Stainless is too Soft to hold a sharp edge, and dulls really fast). They are not made for actual combat. They are made for Decoration. A REAL combat steel (high carbon) sword, will cost you anywhere from $500 to well over $1000. You can literally spilt a Mall Sword in half, with a combat steel sword... and the combat steel sword wont even have a Scratch on the blade.
Furthermore... A Chinese Jian (Double Edged Sword), made of proper High Carbon steel... is equally Lethal, compared to a Japanese sword. The Jian is much lighter, and thus much FASTER. And since it had dual edges, its far more Versatile.. as you can cut in both directions, at lightning speeds.
Of course... The Japanese sword is more Intuitive to use... to someone that has no training at all. With a Jian.. you need to learn how to do soft re-directions... rather than direct Hard-Clashes against another sword. Typically, the Chinese Swordsman will instantly try to attack the persons wrists / fingers... so that the OP is incapable of holding their weapon. The Jian has a very long reach, is blindingly fast... and can lop off a limb like Butter.
Now... There is another Chinese sword type, that is closer to a Japanese sword, called a DAO (Broad-Sword). It has a slight curve to it.. and its blade is much wider than a typical sword. This blade is heavier, and can impact a serious level of Impact potentials.
They may not even be Chinese. Could actually be 3 Japanese women.
People need to stop saying “This doesn’t happen in this neighborhood.” It’s ridiculous because killings are in all neighborhoods. None are perfect.

There’s many different swords around the world but mostly in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East all with their own characteristics.
