He sounds really good. And he handled the chorus really well.
@HopelessDaydreamer55 Thank you for pointing out that David and Kris also wrote or co-wrote the majority of the songs on their albums. I have no issue with Lee and I wish him all the best in his career, but it should be known that he was in no way the first Idol winner to write most of his own songs.
@HopelessDaydreamer55 that said, I love this song! People were criticizing him saying he wouldn't be able to do it live. I would just like to tell those people to shove this video in their crack pipes and smoke it bc he did this sooooooo well :)

0:19 Um... David Cook wrote 11 songs on his album, and Kris Allen wrote ten on his if you count "Send Me All Your Angels" from the bonus track CD...
I love Lee, and I'm so proud of him for writing ten of his songs. But give credit where credit is due. The other guys beat him to the punch on this one. DC was the first.
