Can never have too much f1 content. I'm very happy for fred vassuer. He seems like a real treasure.
He's made a positive impact on Ferrari for sure. Remember how Ferrari were constantly making wrong pit decisions that cost them dearly during the race? Those seem to have been eliminated.
@@InterestedAmerican correct. Since Fred took over Ferrari has practiced pit stops more than any other F1 team on the grid. Now they are second only to Red Bull in average pit stop time and make few errors.
Absolutely fantastic to see how far your journey has come with CZcams and being able to share your experiences!!! Behind the scenes are amazing thank you and your amazing team. Keep it coming please
Thank you so much!!
6 videos a week is no joke. Love the content man. keep it up
More to come!
@@KymIllman Gunther was helping channel 10 during the australian Grand Prix he was talking with the top 3
AHAHHAHA- oh it's not a joke my bad
I really like what Red bull did for the big Dutchie and he seems like a cool guy.
Agreed. Taco appears to have made some real friendships with team personnel. When we did Vegas (we were Williams Paddock Club guests) he and Callum Nicholas were talking in front of Max’s garage and it was clear they had a good rapport. My wife thought he was team personnel. From the clothes he was wearing I could tell he was a fan or partner but someone with a very close connection to the team. He looked quite familiar as it was our fifth race of that season and he is quite recognizable. That is thing about the paddock. If you go enough times you start recognizing the same people. Team personnel. Security. Catering people. Etc. And they recognize you.
Another great video, Kym. I am enjoying the frequent content and happy to see that the quality remains high!
Yay, thank you!
Drove past Albert park. Could smell some good food. Was good race and congrats to Ferrari !! And also I was glad GR was fine after that crash on the final lap.
Excellent content. I look at this channel before any other when it comes to F1. Thank you, Kym!
I’m happy to hear that
Zhou's mom was there too, and Jay Chou(Played the Green Hornet movie).Big figure in Asia sad to not see he in this video. The Chinese GP is coming up there will be at least three big figure Jay Chou ,JJ Lin and Jimmy Lin(This guy has a replicate of Ferrari 248 F1 car in his home)
You’re a legend Kym and have been following you around the world at each race. Thanks for sharing the Aussie kit bag with all the F1 drivers and the #bellroy tote bag is a must have for a couple of cheeky VB’s after a hard days work 😉

Great stuff. Your content is wholly unique, Kym.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for the great content!!
My pleasure!
Always enjoy your content Kym. 👍👍🏁 My GF who's a relatively new F1 fan has started picking out your vids.
Awesome! Thank you!
Last Adelaide GP was 520,000...
🤣 next Adelaide GP will be 1 million! Lessgo!!!!
Kym thank you for all of your videos!
You are so welcome!
Thanks Kym for supporting Horner and showing his thoughtful side. You're a real one. 💯🙏
Always
Great work. 6 videos is a huge undertaking. Have enjoyed seeing you and the bucket hat appearing on the Sky Sports coverage occasionally!
Much appreciated!
Thanks for the awesome video Kym 👏 I had no doubt the drivers would love the nice gift packages you gave to them! Awesome of you to spread kindness and positivity always! Cheers
Cheers.
You're a great person. Thank you for your presentation!
My pleasure!
Another amazing episode. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks for sharing
More to come!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Top video Kim, your creating lasting memories and great to see Melbourne smash it's record for 4 day crowd attendance. I was at the 1995 Adelaide GP with a 4 day attendance of 520,000, still a world record Highest Grand Prix attendance (race weekend) we sat in the Senna chicane grand stand and watched a full replay of the race while semi-trailers were being loaded to take infrastructure to Melbourne, great memories.
I might well have been there that year too.
I think I did all the stuff to enter the competition. I really do enjoy format and feel of your posts. Thank you for posting.
Well done Kym !!
I seen Valtteri Bottas's Uber Carshare commercial. It is hilarious! I love funny commercials.
Wait til you see the car he drove to the track in my upcoming Drivers Drove video.
Taco’s dedication to his favorite team Red Bull is amazing. We went to five races last year and we thought that was a big commitment. I cannot imagine going to 22 as a fan like he did last season. Very happy that the team acknowledged his dedication and commitment to the team by putting him in their pitstop practice in Abu Dhabi, and putting him in the team photo. They were genuinely appreciative of his commitment to the team and I know in Las Vegas. I saw him talking for a long time with Calum Nicholas in the pits.
Red Bull’s fan outreach is really good. They were the only team that ever allowed my wife and I under their rope to see their garage when we were guests of another team and we’re wearing that team’s kit (Aston Martin). A really nice touch by the Red Bull team.
I will say this. The paddock is actually quite small and maybe is composed of about 1500 people in the race teams and if you do attend a lot of races people there will in fact recognize you and get to know you. We’ve had that experience and I can’t imagine how that would be like going to 22 or 24 races a year. Taco is an amazing fan and a nice guy.
You are brilliant, time to go on a channel video binge - and to subscribe, obviously
Many thanks for that.
Aside from watching the race highlights in F1 youtube channel,
This is the only channel that i watch for lot of f1 content, from the gossip around the padock 😂
And knowing the inside of the track, ang how to travel and a lot of behind the scene that you dont see on tv. this is much very good channel. Always excited kym for your new videos. Good to hear that your doing 6 videos a week..👍👍👍 keep up the good work.. God bless.🙏🙏 From 🇵🇭🇵🇭
A pleasure to read this comment. Many thanks.
Loved seeing someone else win for a nice change
Great wrap up here and crossed over to the ‘gram as requested
Awesome! Thank you!
Love your videos,by the way.
Music to my ears.
The new fencing to stop track invasion worked well as did the crowd by not trying to bypass it. I was talking to one of the F1 camera men at T7 (Bob, great guy) and he said at Silverstone they lost near on £225000 worth of gear around the track that was stolen. Hopefully that never happens again or fans on track after the race will never return.
Hello from Canada. I love your content.
Have you visited Canada more tuen just Ontario, BC or Quebec?
Just Montreal for the race.
Kym!...first off I love your content and always look forward to your videos...Cheers.
I admire your idea for presenting all the drivers with your bag of "goodies".
What perplexes me, as a mere mortal and a nobody...that these guys who have squillions of dollars and can afford to have anything their hearts desire, get excited for your bag of goodies.
No disrespect to you Kym, since you rub shoulders with these superstars, I guess at the end of the day, I am jealous and cannot comprehend what it must be like to live a life like a rockstar,
Rant over...Cheers.
It’s a non stop grind.
new intro is awesome
I was in the Fangio grandstand. Was absolutely incredible when Sainz came round after overtaking Max in his injured car. Atmosphere was electric. unfortunately didn't see you at the event, but considering there was over 400,000 across 4 days, probably a bit like finding a needle in a haystack!
I’ve entered the competition so fingers crossed 🤞
Great videos & pictures ❤❤❤
Someone has to win!
What a fun chaotic race... More of those please and thanks
Bring on Suzuka
01:53 Yeah, this is so good! Didn't expect Haas in the points this year. 👍
None of us did.
never been to a race, its on my bucket list since i was 7yrs old, saved for1yr10months for the cheapest at the time it was malaysia then in the 2nd year it got removed😭😭 hopefully if they come to south africa, but till then geeeez leweez this content has always made me feel like im there at the races. thank you so much for all your vids
Keep your money and just watch it on TV. Just as enjoyable. I watched Albert Park from over the fence (free) and was paid to be inside the track watching on race day.
thanx mate@@trevorcronin9249
I have the same hoodie as Kym!
How about Live Q&A's ? Any on the horizon?
When I get an hr to spare it’s on! Doing 6 videos a week is a grind but it’s working!
Will there be a drivers drove video for this gp?
I think so.
I was there in 2002 some time ago! Love your Ozzie's is was $ 75 for the race.
Curious about your new video accreditation, what content does that allow you to capture vs what you already capture at the moment?
Photographers have never been able to video at a track. This is a definite step forward.
@@KymIllman funny how after being a channel member for nearly 3 years I’ve only just realised none of your previous content was filmed at the track!
You folks are the best! Watch and enjoy every video! Just FYI, a couple of recent videos (this one too) did not allow me to 'like'. Maybe just me, but want to make sure you're getting all the likes you deserve!
Liking every video is not compulsory. Horses for courses.
Red Bull PR is on another level and even the team is so considerate in agreeing to these warm gestures. They really deserve all their success.
With the success of the AGP maybe it’s time to consider a 2nd race for Australia. How about Bathurst, or a street circuit around the Rocks and Sydney Harbour, that would be an awesome spectacle. Seeing as the F1 stars come half way around the world, they might as well come and enjoy some of sunshine in between, rather than the European winter.
,
Another great video Kym, as usual. Correct me if i'm wrong but it looks to me you have gained 19K Subscribers in 2024! That leads me say if you that if you are a viewer and not subscribed please do so and make that number climb.
Correct Terry. Posting 6 videos a week works wonders.
Congratulations on the video side of things. I hope it doesn't lessen the photo content
It will have little effect as I have a full time editor now.
Onya Kim. 👍👍
You have to get a photo of Nico's Pomeranian somehow. That's what the R3 is made for ;-)
I have seen it at one race a couple of years ago
@@KymIllman My pom gets a disproportionate amount of shots on the R3. Does Nico's lady visit the paddock much?
Kym , that was a truly magnanimous gesture on your behalf, and I know you’ve earned a boat load of good will by it. Love your videos! ❤️💪🇺🇸
I am planning on doing a welcome to Australia pack each year. It was a big hit.
G'day Kym,
That was an incredibly nice gesture from you to give gifts to the drivers. A nice touch.
I must say, you have a touch of the "Richie Benaud's" about you with your delivery to camera.
First stills, now a fore' into video. Bit of commentary in your future perhaps..?
Enjoy your day mate.
Byron (From Melbourne)
Thank you kindly
Don’t be ridiculous
Thanks for all the extra advertising
Cheers.
I have a certain sense of smugness after watching Kym's behind the scenes vids, I now know more about the race than 99% of the f1 fanbase!
Please tell all your friends
Great podium! Need a Lando, Oscar, Carlos podium one day.
I’m working on it.
*Charles, Daniel, Carlos + 2024 = 🏆🏆🏆*
Ima be wearing Primark clothing in the Silverstone paddock this year.. As after the cost that’s all I can afford.
2:37 gotta put trigger warning or something for that monster.
it was actually caramel cake for Ted. cheers
No Sir, we are indebted to you
Cheers.
I'm not at all convinced that Ferrari is getting rid of the right guy
Yay for Haas! I was hoping Williams would get a point also
Goatstappen effect😎
I have attended every year Aus GP since 2004 to 2019 . Glad to witness the NA V10 & V8’s scream ! Unfortunately F1 event is not even worth the hype anymore ! expense of 3 day general admin ticket + food + travel within Mel metro exceeds the cost having 2 nights stay over around Great ocean Rd and a great drive !! Also no F/A18 flyover!!
I found me at 0:34
So that guy paid to be a Redbull VIP at every race last year and he’s thanking them?
Yes there must be an interesting back story to this...
Personally think its great - top teams offer very very different levels of individual fan engagement - for most top teams experiences like this are not open to willing paying fans and are only open to very deep pocketed commercial sponsors
@@weRcheckingI think we’d be kidding ourselves to think he’s ‘just a fan’. He has very deep pockets and no telling what corporate background he has or who he may represent as bare minimum for the experience he’s paying for is $15k up to $50k so to attend each race at that level would have cost well over $300,000 probably closer to $400,000. Not including flights and accomodation. This is no standard fan opportunity.
I'd love to see Carlos take over the seat at MB and then dominate George Russell.
Wow. You’ve got to love Red Bull and their social media dominance.
Nice to see the "rest of the field" have their day without Max. But I missed Max and his massive talent, plus his skillful team, putting on an amazing display of racing.
Would have climbed the fence but couldn’t afford the ban
Sir Jackie…
Sad but not unexpected to see this channel turn in to half of it being a commercial, just like every other channel does once they get enough subscribers. Anyways still enjoy watching and keep it up.
get a ad blocker
More giveaways on the horizon.
Ferrari's biggest mistake letting go of Carlos Sainz not a smart move. Then adding in Lewis once a driver has out lived there glory days they are done.
record breaking crowd but the GA experience was terrible. Transport to and from albert park was shite and the limited screens made finding a spot to watch the race a blood bath. Not being able to access the track also made leaving take forever.
Sainz or Alonso to Red Bull??
Congrats on video accreditation. Should be good.
It’s keeping me time poor.
Congratulations on the video accreditation.
Many many thanks
Good to see racing is still boring after when max is out. Now the debbie downers can shut up when max wins again.
Still upset with you that I I can't enter that competition via CZcams because I have a no social media policy
Unfortunately, I can’t directly contact the winner through CZcams. They need to sort that out.
@@KymIllman I was just kidding about being upset Kim. I know you mentioned that in your last video
I'm massively impressed by Carlos. Since my dude Danny prob is exiting after (or during?) this year, Carlos is my new main man💪🏆
I do have a soft spot for Lando and Fernando, but I'm so excited for Carlos future and championship (I hope🤞)
Just a fun note: Kika’s phone case is a special lip oil holder case from Hailey Bieber’s brand Rhode.
Noted.
You should give away free flight promotions in partnership with Quantas..If they are as bad as you think they need your help in promoting the future of Quantas ! p.s you know my address !
Make that happen!
Great content as always. To me, you are to F1 fans what Harry Metcalfe is to car nuts here on CZcams❤
Solid, no BS, and with respect. Keep it up Kim!
I appreciate that!
Wow..Great success $450,000,000 in Fosters sales…oh in Aussie dollars..
Australians don’t drink Fosters
Fred is making a big mistake. If Lewis drives a Ferrari, they will all be embarrassed.
Nah, mate Lewis, with a quick you know his gonna win some races
If the car suits him he'll absolutely be back to his very best
Yeah, all of a sudden Lewis is the new Latifi or something. Besides the decision to hire him came from Elkann not Vasseur.
I agree mate, but I don’t think it was solely up to Fred. I think Ferrari top brass wanted him. While I don’t think Hamilton will “fail” in the Ferrari next year it won’t be what teamLH thinks it will be.
Gasly’s woman is hotter than Max’s brakes
is a thing if some has a birthday to have the cake put in the persons face the only reason Ted did not go face covered as was working
Track invasion is a tradition. Traditions shouldn't be touched
You're australian? I thought you were british??
Why?
@@KymIllman I should have noticed the accent, my apologies.
Watching this race without Lewis and Max was like watching the best of the rest ride around… and this is completely embarrassing if you are Charles,, he’s the 34 million dollar a year driver,, the future of the team and he couldn’t beat his teammate who doesn’t even have a ride next year… and wtf Checo can’t even make the podium..
Think Lewis is firmly in that rest atm he’s behind lance stroll
@@SiegfriedDerDrachentoter Dude I’m not a Lewis fan by any means,, but he did finish p3 last year…. And maybe he’s not Lewis of old but I’d take him over all the rest.. Except Max.. that’s why Ferrari are getting rid of an under 30 Sainz who’s held his own against Leclerc…
Seeing Carlos win made me so very happy. I felt absolutely gutted for him when his contract was not renewed. I believe he had earned a renewal.
To me, he is the total package of a driver never gives up, completely dedicated to his craft fights, so hard to overtake and to keep his position and a genius in strategy and racecraft.
He will land on his feet somewhere and I believe the top teams will be fighting for his services. Australia was the best drive in his career, and he dominated the race.
Leclerc the future of the team??? Don't make laugh
Charles was ordered to keep a gap to sainz to avoid fighting and secure the 1-2
Must be great for the drivers to finally drive in front of fans..... unlike the middle east gps
Wow..1st viewer
Ricciardo did absolutely nothing to make his parents proud.
They might even have left early.
Why would you give thousands of dollars of presents to millionaires? As a journalist, that seems inappropriate, it's like you are paying for access. As a human being, it's...... I'm sure there are people in Australia who need/could use those things a lot more than F1 drivers.
Stay focused.
Sky f1 is so bad now. Ted is boring. And Martin has become an awkward cringe person. Look at martin interviews on pit lane b4 races in the US, example serena williams. He's a pestering weirdo
I hear the opposite from most. It’s hard to tailor to everyone’s taste I know.
@@KymIllman ur a great man. I honestly watch your channel just because of ur kind demeanor. May god bless u. And I am honored u replied
