Im always surprised these dogs are so small to some i've seen, I mean my boys from a South african line and the runt of his litter and his dad was lanky(175lbs), mom was a bulldozer (195lbs). I've noticed the south African imports seem to keep to a slimmer smaller standard than the buffed up huge muscular look American breeders seem to go for. My boy topped out at 175lbs but I know a lot of american lines have 200 lb's and a shorter, barrel chested standard (basically a giant pitbull terrier look alike in my opinion). I always get jealous of docked tails now though. Spikes tail is like a frickin bullwhip, i swear 😌. But I'm honestly just happy our breed has come so far these last years, cheers to all boarbol owners :)

These boerboels look really small. I have two. Zeus is 3 years old and weighs in at 80 kg. Tyson is only one year old and he weighs in at ,75 kg and he is still growing. Why are these boerboels so small? Calling out from south africa

those ones are tiny - getting my new pup this weekend :-) his mom is 90kg(198lbs) and dad around 100kg(220lbs)

They’re no overly fed and are capable of working.
Those are pitiful examples of Boerboels . So many better one's in America that don't go to the shows. Thats why there are only 3
