PURSUING MY DOCTORATE IN THE ARTS: PERFORMANCE & ARTISTIC RESEARCH - REASONS, GOALS, FINANCING

This video is an honest talk about a dream that I have had for 12 years: to pursue my artistic doctorate IN performance practice. After 2 years of hard work (research on schools and supervisors around the world & preparing my applications and supplementary documents) I got a bingo: an acceptance offer from the Doctoral School of Artistic Research at University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in Austria. I couldn't have been at a better place. I wish you all to remain persistent and go towards your dreams (read: goals) no matter what. It's worth it.

So erhellend zu hören, was Du als Pianistin über Deine Tätigkeit denkst.
Deine Reflexionen führen den Hörer über das unmittelbare Rezipieren der Interpretation hinaus und eröffnen ihm eine neue Welt, indem sie ihm sozusagen eine neue Grammatik des Zuhörens präsentieren.
Ich verstehe zu wenig von Deinem Gebiet, aber so viel ich verstanden zu haben glaube, geht die künstlerische Forschung in Richtung neuer Arten von Eindrücken, die möglich werden sollen, wenn man verschiedene Arten der Kunst verbindet. Könnte man sagen, dass die künstlerische Forschung neue Arten von Gesamtkunswerken zu finden versucht?
