This is video is an update on our home as we're getting closer to the finish line. So we hope you enjoy and continue to watch us create a better life in a simpler way.
You guys are really getting it done, I have been watching every step, my name is Deborah, me and my husband Darrell is also building with Aleta, community 2.
Hey guys I hope all is well with y’all! I have to circle back because I usually get notifications when y’all post but I missed this one. Anyhoo your house is looking great and I can’t wait too see your whole finished project etc. Congratulations for taking the leap of faith with Aleta hope to meet all of y’all in my community 2 and your community 1 also 3 when I finally touch down I’m pushing for the fall will see. 🙏🏽☮️❤️🤗🇧🇧🇺🇸🇬🇭💐🥂🍾
My heart is in Awh, it's coming along beautifully. I like the open kitchen cabinet look also, I want the glass in it. I'm so happy for you guys, I'm listening to the MH saying be patient lol.
Your kitchen and doors ❤ Blair family great job. I was nervous for your floors not to get damage . Floor should've been covering while they were putting together. Great job, Mr & Mrs Blair
+@BLAIRSINGHANA : Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 on the building of your new Home 🏡. But Remember what Sista Aleta Israel said about leaving that Plastic on your Doors 🚪 so you may want to remove the plastic yourself or waa the workers to remove that Plastic covering. Shalom, Salaam my Hebrew Yashar'alite Misphacha. APTTMH ABBA YAH HALLELUYAH AMEN.....!!! 💋💕💝🥰👑🕎👑❤️🔥💞👄👑😍
Omgeeeeeeeee!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 everything looks amazing!!! Simplicity is key! You’re doing an amazing job with the design! That septic system deserves its on Q and A lmao😅 I have a million questions 😅 I’m so excited!!! “We’re” almost there!!! I totally feel like I’m apart of this journey lol 🎉🎉🎉
House is looking really nice ! Please keep up the tree planting and do not let anyone convince you to pave over your compound! Your kitchen is simple and sleek , love it !!
Looking very nice ! What is the channel of Cecile that filmed your planted trees? Was it The Addis Family? It is a good idea to have at least one plug socket on every available wall were it is safe to be fitted. So many trees could provide lots of shade which could be great for keeping your outdoors cooler but if not placed strategically, may reduce by too much sunlight coming in to the house and may throw shade on other smaller plants and food crops you may choose to grow. As for how often the Septic tank needs to be pumped out would depend on number of people in the house , If it is just for two adults who are not both there all year round the every 2-3 years would be my guess.
Your house is looking lovely !! Nice to see everything coming together .Did they damp proof the concrete slab ?I am Ghanaian living in the US and I visited Ghana. I built my house in Ghana about 6 years ago and my neighborhood is UGLY!! All mud and trash but with beautiful mansions built just anywhere without any plan !All this virgin land we are building on in Ghana should have being zoned and planned by the department of city planning ,like they used to do in Ghana back in the 50s and 60s to have layout of streets with names and numbers , gutters , ensure trees are replanted and include green spaces . I live in a suburb of Washington DC and each house in my development has more than 8 trees PER HOUSE ! and that doesn't count the bushes, shrubs, flowers ,lawns and the park .How does it make sense that my neighborhood in Ghana a tropical country is full of mansions with concrete gardens with barely a tree in sight ?
I have bought land in Ghana in an area that is mostly African Americans and Ghanaians living in the US /UK. I am hoping that eventually because we are used to higher standards ,we will come together and figure out how to do something about making the neighborhood look as good as the houses . There is no way people will just live there in these conditions, the roads are impassable during the rainy season !
Yes that doesn't make any sense it's like your Ghana home is like living out here in Las Vegas smh I seen a neighborhood i think in Kumasi that was built in the 60 or 70's and it was beautiful the way it's layed out. If they planned, we'll back then what changed over time?
Wow! 😃 Beautiful designs choices! Your home looks amazing already and you guys haven't even finished yet🤯... All praises to The Most High for the wonderful gifts he gives to his children. I'm excited to see the finished product! May your home bring y'all much rest, peace, and many blessings ❤
FYI. Our house is a family of 6 with 1/2 the size of your Tank. We drain ours every 3 years. Yours. I am assuming will need to be drained every 10 years. Especially just being only two of your. Now. If you plan on having a massive Dump…… That’s a different story. The math will change But if you plan on regular Dumps. You should be draining about every 7 to 10 years The cost is about 100 to 200 dollars to drain. Minus Inflation 😂😂

@@BlairsNGhana yes oooo, stay blessooooo, Amen
It takes about 30 to 40years to be full
I think you should add some doors on the top cabinets and leave maybe 2 open
You'll see how it comes out once the dishes are in. We have the doors stored away in case we change our minds.
@@BlairsNGhana awesome, am sure it’s going to be amazing, building too and borrowing ideas 🥹
I love the Laminated flooring. I am glad you chose that instead of tiles. Something I will be considering with mine. Where did you buy them?
I forgot the name of the company but it's in Accra
Laminate += Cheap Cheap Cheap chale!!

I’m interested to know about the laminate flooring in the Ghanaian climate, can they endure the heat & humidity?
This style is a new style that is made for the conditions
