You are correct in what you say.Although different dogs may have their own quirks.My Sammy likes to cuddle on the bed but she will eventually get too warm and then jump off.Anyway good job.See you nexttime.Oh and I love Felix !

What I found was they need both quality time and quantity time. Quality is going places, having walks, playing and meeting people. Quantity time is that they just want to lie around while you work or do something. They look like they aren't taking any notice, but after 5-10 minutes they will start wondering what has happened to you, and start looking for you. If you are in a part of the house that they are allowed in, then they will just lie down again. Otherwise they will stand and look very worried until you head for their part of the house. If every part is theirs then they will sleep wherever you are. One reason I don't have another Samoyed is I like doing things that dogs aren't allowed to do, for example dogs are banned from national parks in Australia. Unless I had someone that could look after them for a day it is very difficult.
This breed of dogs is a walking comedy,they make me laugh non stop!The funniest breed ever!

My samoyed just passed away last week, she was 13 and lived a long and happy life. Honestly I think alot of the points you made are stretched or invalid, they are social, lovely animals and apart from their fur grooming it's not too far off from a husky, tebetin mastiff or a shepherd dog.
