    I personally think they'll be better off paying her because once stories like these get out to the public, it will ultimately damage their reputation. It makes the casinos look fraudulent.

    If if if this lady takes this to court and finds judgment in her favor based on her situation as well as what has happened repeatedly with this machine, then a full scale investigation needs to be lazer focused on IGT and if it is found beyond a shadow of a doubt that the machines are designed to “glitch” when the jackpot is hit. They should not only have to pay her, but also anyone else that was denied their win and they should no longer be allowed to manufacture any other gambling machines period. ,as well as jail time for those who knowingly committed the fraud. This is only my opinion none of this of course in reality will ever happen for one single reason. Way too much money would be lost by the casinos and if more importantly by the government.

    I hit a jackpot at the Hard Rock a few years back. On the top of the machine, it said 9 quick hit symbols = $5,700. I hit 9. Machine said $3,700. Attendant says it is because it was hit on a bonus round. That doesn't make any sense.

    • @sexygeek8996

      If this is the same Quick Hit game that I played, those Quick Hit symbols only pay the progressives in the base game and a fixed amount in the bonus games. That is stated in the help and pay table screens.

      I don't know why people have such a hard time grasping this there was only 1 glitch it occurred during her bonus spin. Machines automatically disable themselves after a malfunction which is what happened here there was no money taken in by a malfunctioning machine. The tech cleared the error and it showed her actual payout $350. Casino techs have very limited access they can clear errors but they can't change payouts.

    If you ever do win the progressive jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune machine, you will have the option to take a smaller lump sum or 20 annual installment payments. I witnessed a guy hit one in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun. He had to wait for hours to be paid. Then he had 30 days to decide how he would receive his money. Food for thought. Don’t expect to get all the money at once.

There are plenty of videos out there on CZcams explaining on how Wheel of Fortune machines are separate from the casino. Her lawsuit is with IGT. The above is one reason I Don’t play this game. They go there because they have lost and want their even money back. Unfortunately they will never get their money back. Casino can be fun if you realize your there for entertainment and if you win that double the fun. But if you lose,accept it and move on.

  • @mikeyhetrick
    @mikeyhetrick Před 26 dny +9

    First of all malfunction voids all pays and plays. This is listed on every machine in the rules. Second, she did not have the correct combination on the first payline (center) to even be awarded the wide area progressive jackpot. Her winning symbols on the 5th payline were for a Wheel spin at 2x and on the 4th payline for the mixed 7s. The multiplier never applies to the wide area progressives. Anytime a machine hits a wide area progressive, a signal is sent immediately to IGT (this slots manufacturer) that its hit. They immediately send a representative to the casino for verification and to initiate the 1st installment of payout. The casino not responsible for any portion of the progressive payout for these machines. This is a easy open/shut case for IGT. She should have taken her win and been done. Now she is going to spend a fortune in attorney fees defending something that was correct.

    This lady is a scam artist, she has a machine at home so she's probably familiar wth how to tilt the machine so the wheel moves in her favour. You wound never have to press the call attendant button for a real jackpot and for all you haters , Ballys is not responsible to pay large jackpots its the responsibility of the game manufacture so they have no reason or can not manipulate a machine not to pay . Usually when the machine spins slowly it means that maybe someone hit the machine to try to move the wheels and the machine spins slowly to go back in regular position.
