Is the Taruca 270 degree awning the best 270 on the market?

- I installed the Taruca 270 degree extreme darkness awning on my GX460. After having it for some time and using it in multiple locations, here are my thoughts.

Super cool. Once I get my roof rack figured out on my Bronco I'll be wanting to shop for one of these.
Nice 🤙🏽 I like that it comes with lights.
They were one of my reasons for getting it. Having built in lights is just convenient.

Are you able to open the tailgate on the car with the awning fully open? If not can you make the awning be 180 degree mode easily to open the tailgate?
The GX has a barn door rear, unlike the 4runner that has a lift gate. I can open the back door with no issues, and that's actually why I went with a driver's side awning. I can open it and stay completely out of the weather while going to the fridge.
Where did you buy your Taruca 270 Awning?
The owner is revamping this whole lineup with some very exciting stuff. I believe he's debuting everything at Overland Expo West this upcoming weekend. Thisnis the Dale page though...

Looks good man. Will that awning let your rear hatch open?
My rear hatch is actually a barn door style and open to the side. It doesn't touch it at all. Why I chose the driver's side awning will make more sense when I post the camp kitchen video in the next couple of days. Shooting that one this afternoon.
