you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Kole Valentin I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Joe, I’m 51 now but I’ve had your cassette, cd etc since 1987. I love you. I will see you in concert for the 4th time in late June early July. I’ve had tickets for at least 3 years
I know Steve would not and could not ever tour with Journey again, but after watching all the old music videos and watching him sing with so much soul it is hard for me to watch the stuff without him. I could never go to a concert but I wish them all the luck. I think Def Leopard will be awesome.
I also like Journey a lot, but the fact is that without Steve Perry they are just a cover band at this point... it’s a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them again.. imagine how fast tickets would sellout if Perrywould just go on tour with them and sing just one song...lol
I've wanted to see Journey so bad, but I'm not going waste the money or the time to see them without Steve Perry! There's no way I could sit through that with them sounding like a tribute band.
My 1st concert ever was Journey in 1979. Saw Def Leppard in 1993. I'd love to see this tour.. And hell yeah, play the hits guys! I'm definitely not a Dorito gal. ;-)
I've seen both in recent years, should be a decent show. Def Leppard always puts on a good show. The last time I saw Journey, ehhh....decent at best the best years are definitely behind them.
My dad and I missed out on Guns N’ Roses.. I’m a generation Z (13) so I haven’t been around as long as my dad has but we LOVE oldies like Def Leppard and Journey and we cannot wait to see you! I feel bad because the tickets were a lot but it’s worth it!
talk about a prophetic interview, mentioning the rock n roll hall of fame, Def Leppard are quite rightly in it now and they gave credit to former member Pete Willis.
Bought my first caster was on through the night by Def Leppard been a fan sence then and still is a fan today love defleppard never got to see them in concert but would love to
Hi Pawsomegirl12,. did you see Def Leppard & Journey at the Fargodome in Fargo, ND when they were in concert there together in 2005? I was there with 2 friends and it was a great concert.. I had seen them both previously in the 1990's in their own individual concerts. 😁
Thank you Joe and Def Leppard for making your music available for streaming. I bought the CD's before and moved everything to iTunes only to see my iPod broke. I switched to Spotify - I cannot stand all the money these companies (Apple, record companies) expect us to spend, eff em! I'll support artists through tickets and tee's now and that's it.
Probably thinking with this Tour we can load our Vaults and retire......... Thats why I'm going to see them... This could be the last tour... (Remember, None of us are kids anymore and BOTH Bands have been touring Non Stop for several Years!! You better see them before they retire)
I could see a bit of stress in Neal's face as he tried to come up with another Def Lep song besides Pour Some sugar on me! Luckily the conversation shifted just in time.
Joe came out looking like an expert on Journey music. He is clearly a fan. Hard to say why Neal couldn't come up with another DL song. Especially when he is into so much different stuff musically.
Joe looks even more fucking handsome than he did when he was young. Def Leopardi has always been my second fav band, only to Heart. Their melodically charged,, songs , drenched in massive power chords, rival Joes vocals as he trampolines off of them. Epic stuff, creating hysteria, for those of you younger trolls. Rock of Ages, people.......
Minooch One look at this amazing artist, is enough to make me blush & I have felt this way since my teens. His eyes betray the Leopard with & he owns it. Lol, funny story about the name Def Leopard, when the band first came out an older lady thought their name was - dead flatbird - think I heard that when the guys were interviewed by Much Music. Wee bit of trivia for the young fans.
Iron Head-Ed This will be an incredible into to the concert scene. These two bands go together like peanut butter & jam, can't get much better than that, ( well maybe if Queen backed up Zeppelin that feat. Roger Dultry, singing Cashmere ),, lol, have fun Iron Head-Ed, glad you appreciate these classic acts. Maybe try eBay or something like it to find Slang - if not, at least you have it on MP3. Seen Def Leopard in a Seattle concert, but have never seen Journey. They're not coming my way this time. Rock on bro....... 💜
Also I like Journey a lot, but the fact is that without Steve Perry they are just a cover band at this point... it’s a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them again.. imagine how fast tickets would sellout if Perrywould just go on tour with them and sing just one song...lol
GREAT interview...this is really interesting stuff! say what you will about Neil, he has been part of the game since 15 with Santana. THAT is insane! think about this..since 1969 Neil has been around in many bands always hitting success...forget his personal life drama...they all have that!
Why so much about how they look? They are like grandfathers at this point. Fun to see a co-show that actually make sense. Would definitely think about going!
I'm happy to see Journey is continuing to tour, but without Steve Perry it is to me just a cover band. But that ship sailed a long time ago. But man they were great with Steve Perry and Greg Rollie in the say! What a legacy they both have left! Timeless music that will live on for generations to come!
Search for Come on, Come on by Rock Candy. Also the singer (Jose Anes) had a band B4 Rockcandy called Sinful with Nuno Bettencourt on guitar B4 he was in Extreme! Search for Sinful demo album 1985. Enjoy!!!!
Great Interview.... The Big Question is "WHO will headline and WHO will close??" I'm glad the DJ mentioned Ticket cost's.... He's correct, it has gotten expensive!! I paid it and we will be there because this is a RARE Opportunity!!! Very Excited and we can't wait!!!
I would love to go see these guys but @ $935 for a floor seat and that's floor 2 in the back at the Forum in LA... ouch! I saw zz top and Quiet Riot back in 84 and it was $45 in that same area, talk about inflation.
Fun freq I saw the 2006 co headlining tour twice. Free at the Hollywood Bowl (I worked there at the time), and for $35 dollars at the Jack FM show with Billy Idol, Cheap Trick, and Violent Femmes. Times and prices sure have changed.
I'm not really in the know when it comes to who gets the lion's share of the ticket sales but someone is bank'n it! and maybe it's the age demographic of the audience for these shows and the thinking that most people that grew up with these bands are well to do or maybe there just catering to the upper end of the income brackets IDK but I know I can't shell out 2k+ to take my wife to go see these guys, I guess I will have to live vicariously through others Sorry Joe, Neal : (
Thank you Joe Elliot for playing only the hits the fans want to hear!!! It is correct we all pay good money for tickets and just want to hear the hits! I hope Journey follows the same set..
Iron... To each his own.. but I think my feeling is with most of the people that are coming and paying good money to the show (average $100 just for a ticket) most of them want to hear song they know.. that’s all I’m saying.. I could see if your a newer band and trying to sell new albums or getting your new songs out, but as we all know they are past that and are out for the fans now. I’ll be going to the concert here!!!
Iron... Also unfortunately they can’t play all there good songs.. just too many hits.. but I agree we all won’t hear all the songs we want to hear, they can’t please everyone lol
I'm a diabetec. And off and on have some bad days. and would like to see the Original Journey Members. I hope my diabetes dose not take a 90 degree turn. age 43. 10 years ago. I nearly died. Had a bad foot infection. had 3 toes amputated, and nearly had my left leg amputated. I go to a lot of jam sessions. sing a lot of journey songs. the crowd loves hearing me sing Journey. and gave Journey new fans because I performed well. Even Karaoke. do well. I hope you come to Minneapolis. and sign all my Journey CDs. and hear me do some of Journeys best hits at karaoke. I hope the 2 bands do very well. and make over a Billion for the tour.Deff Leppard also Rocks. I hope the whole Journey Band will come out to see me in person. And come hear me sing karaoke. I have so much fun singing a lot of Journeys greatest hits. I hope I'm still around this summer. Diabetes can take a 90 degree turn. And want to come see this show if touring Minneapolis. I wish the 2 bands best wishes
I’m not sure Joe is happy about the back catalogue being online. It’s crazy how many records/cd’s they sold when people actually had to go out and buy them.
Yes they are... and here's the radio spot for one of the shows I voiced and produced scottjohnsonproductions.box.com/s/6t248vo2eu5vnt8lpk5xeac0vlar5wec
Did anyone catch the announcement of the special guest? You know who that might be right?!? 😮 And did you understand that Gregg wasn't welcome and that Neal fought for him? Neal said that Jon AND Ross didn't want Gregg.
If your trying to say Steve Perry is the special guest, keep dreaming with the rest of us lol.. it is a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them.. If he was going sing I guarantee Neal would advertise that, tickets would sellout fast.. we know Neal is all about the money lol
Swiftyllc that guess is about the benefit. Has nothing to do with Journey...with no strings attached...if he was just going to show up. It was one of the reasons why the BENEFIT'S tickets sold out...in 5 minutes.

Both bands have had their losses; Journey lost a lot of members over the years - not just Steve. Steves just the one everybody remembers. Def Leppard lost one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived and kept moving forward - their drummer lost his arm... he not only kept moving forward but THEN wrote one of the greatest rock albums of all times - breaking records (with one arm). Both bands are an inspiration to anyone that's been through hard times and anyone that criticizes them because of the changes they've been through is probably under 14 years old and has never been through any kind of hard times; probably never even had to work for a living. I agree Perry is incredible live - I've seen him live (with Journey 1986). But times change - they moved on... everyone else should take a lesson and do the same.
i wish these bad asses would come to Sacramento California .my daughter wants to see them .she is turning 19 in Febuary 2018 .she loves them .she has only asked for a couple of things from me .going to a Def Leppard concert is one of the most important ones .
Somebody needs to clue the interviewer in that we want to hear Neal and Joe talk! Not the DJ flapping his gums all over...wish he would SHUT UP! Geez.🤦🏻♂️
Hey give the guy a chance! Some people don't feel old and don't want to look old ! If I had the bucks I would do it because I feel the same way ! Loved Journey for years and yes I miss Steve but he had reasons he had to leave although he's still got the pipes and wish he would return !!Arne has been doing a great job we just want Steve!!
Huge bands like this touring together is terrible for fans. You get a much, much shorter setlist, and it's only the biggest hits that you've heard them play every show. Tickets are more expensive. Tickets are harder to get because they sell quicker, because it's a show with two big bands and because you have more casual fans that attend. After Journey was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, there were rumors that Steve might be joining them on a future tour. I wonder if those rumors were true?
Who's Schon kidding? It's not about the fans, it's about his income. Between all the plastic surgery, alimony and child support, it's either do this or dig ditches.
melissa flinchum Lmfao. Love your passion. Maybe for u its 'older the violin the sweeter the music'. To me....just sworn out musician. And Neal looks like plastic man. Great bands in their heyday! peace love dope!!!
sad that we age...life exists when we are young and perfect in our existential dynamic...the rest is a protracted death event...these guys were both great performers, for different reasons.
Joe is so great. He should host an XM Sirius satellite radio program. He's a natural.

LOL.. I saw his stress also.. What a shame he couldn’t even name a couple songs lol.
exactly. Thought the same
Probably just pissed that Def Leppard has more hits than Journey.
Joe came out looking like an expert on Journey music. He is clearly a fan. Hard to say why Neal couldn't come up with another DL song. Especially when he is into so much different stuff musically.
My thought exactly. Chain Reaction is not a widely known song, whereas Pour Some Sugar On Me... Neal should have been embarrassed as hell.
Mr Elliot is amazing
Chain Reaction IS awesome!
Also Troubled Child was a great one
FenderSchonJPX Yes when Perry sings it. Actually the whole B SIDE of Frontiers is phenomenal.
Def Leppard and Journey...wow... what a great combo :)
