Best advice for Twin Flames: Focus on yourself and not the other.

Believe it or not, your simple sentence is 💯
That’s when my twin flame left- when I focused on me- we were so close and I started doing other things thinking it would be better to not be so interdependent and that’s when it all started to go down. As she’s pointing out, it’s supposed to be fine either way but I’m totally disagreeing- which probably means I haven’t ‘learned’ what I need to but both of us have been sadder than sad ever since- 20 years later.

There was a lot of drama for me, because I was unaware on the twin flame connection. I never knew it existed until after I did research. I had just learned I was an empath in March of 2017, I was in the same place with my twin in Feb 2017, although we did not meet until months later. Anyway, long story short, I was painful for me this journey, but I learned quick on my own, to let go and take care of self first, raise your vibration, self love, self care, good energy, move forward. Presently, we are in union and defining our mission. It is a real blessing, it was all worth it

Alot hàs been happening to me like awakening in every area of my life. It was during this process i pup into one of ur videos on youtube concerning awakening and I started following u. You have helped alot. Actually I have met my twin flame in whom I was thinking will be my soulmate. There has been repelling and approximity between us. We met in Cyprus , we connected and later he left to our home country and I was left in Cyprus. So far all the characteristics u spoke about on the first video i have been experiencing them and I also noticed in this video that i was so attached to this person, and it made me to worry too much about d relationship because I was focusing on my partner. But recently b4 i got this video, is like i tapped into a new energy that allows me to focus on myself, love myself and my body, l take into consideration what i eat, how i look and feel. I stire at myself on the mirror almost every time of the day😂😂😂. I have come to a point where I said to myself if that person is mine he will be mine.I have let things to flow on its own while working on myself. After letting go is like the connection become stronger even though we are apart

I really love that you focus on non attachment. It seems that folks over romanticize the twin flame concept. From what I'm experiencing this is a gift from the universe to quicken the path of self discovery. It can be messy but that's good because the adversity and drama shines a light on the self. For the less initiated it might seem like negativity to stay away from. In my case, i'ts been a tremendous opportunity to face my fears to face my self. I'd like to say that it's been the same for her, but i'm not sure yet and will not put all this spirit stuff on her until she goes there.
It's like that when we are connected to the absolute and living Source of all Creation! isn't it? We forget the ego or self and can therefore manifest the unconditional love we are made of!
Yes! I can really relate to that. It's very emotional and definitely a lot of drama in the beginning. I was at first confused about the whole not being "attached" but I get it. It shows a form of insecurities because if that someone is truly your flame, then the universe will allow them to be together and never part... even if distance plays a factor. My flame has been pushing for me to overcome my fear and procrastination of me mending my relationship with my dad. We fell out yrs ago due to his mental state and health at that time, but other times I've tried to patch up our relationship and he's never did or said the right things for us to move forward. He actually wants to be with me if it ever happens. No man has ever cared enough about me to push me to not only do it but be by my side. Especially since my dad stays in the same city and state as we do.
I need to be your friend. I have no idea how to deal with this

Although this is heartbreaking to hear--I'm a hopeless romantic it is also reassuring to know that there's someone with this unconditional love for me. To have my twin flame in my life even if it's a friendship is such a blessing.

Well, I am happy just knowing that my TF helped awaken me in this life time. It does not matter if my person marries someone else or comes back to me. I'll always have unconditional love for that one person, because I had that extra-ordinary experience that I would never have experienced with any one else in the world

I’m with my soulmate but I met my twin flame and I have such a deep deep bond with my twin flame. I know we hate to admit to be attached to each other, we end up not wanting to see each other, when we meet each other there’s so much chemistry, live intensity. It’s so HUGE. I told him he can be free, he can do whatever he wants, we both said it’s easier if we don’t talk, but we end up talking end up seeing each other, our ends are hard and we end up not ending! I love both my partner and twin flame but my flame is wilder with my twin flame.
My idea of togetherness is two separate living spaces. :)

I met my twin flame once. And this was so extremely intense I never had it before in my life. My twin flame said that this was so intense that he could't even explain. So he run away. I ended up with tears for weeks, but thank you for pointing me things. I know now I needed to let him free, but I am the most happy and blessed person that I had the chance to meet my twin flame this life, look at his deep eyes, and to grasps the intensity about twin flame. I am sure we will meet once again, if not this life maybe in next life....thank you...
KatPunk I am engaged with my twin soul and I ran away from him a few times it was so intense I couldn’t handle it..after I saw him again the overwhelming feelings made me scared again he said please dont leave me then he proposed to me we have been engaged for awhile now it surely isnt easy😕 I promise you he cannot go forever without you when he’s ready he will come back

You have the best explanation of twin flames I have seen so far! Everything is exactly what I have been experiencing. It's like I have this deep acceptance and knowing that we must let each other go and we return to one another when we experience moments of wholeness within ourselves. My perceptive of a twin flame connection is that it is the most purest and truest form of love there is to experience with someone. Learning to be able to be completely free and accepting within one another's presence. I have experienced those moments of repelling against one another when the attachment begins to arise. Just the deep knowing he will always be apart of my life and me apart of his is enough to give me a deep sense of peace and wholeness no matter in what form that is. Whether we are physically together or whether we are apart, as friends, or lovers or whatever else, just knowing he exist with me at the same time on this planet is enough to fill my entire being with so much peace and wholeness. It's like I have this deep knowing we are together no matter what. It's really such a special and pure feeling.

"Focus on self" advice is spot on.🥰 If we see ourselves as a system of parts or inner child, we realize focusing on our twin and their business all day - really is abandoning our own self.
It’s incredible watching this video at this time in my existence. When I met my twin flame, I knew it was something different to a soulmate without ever hearing the term. We had strangers comment on our connection from the first night we met. Their friends told me that when they met me, it was like meeting my twin flame but just in a different body (not the exact words but similar lol). When I tried to look up what this was early in our relationship, I found little information, other than a twin flame is not two souls, but one. I felt this strongly.
My attachment, childhood traumas and addictions then became uncontrollable. I believe this is where I entered my dark night of the soul. I had tried sobriety, I knew if I didn’t do it then they would leave, but truely I never considered myself an addict. I was sober for a few months (and struggling greatly) when I had an accident and prescribed opiates. I lost my way and became a shell of a person. They found me one night high on opiates and alcohol. I barely remember it but I do remember I shared with them my views at the time, views I held my whole life - if I found love, I would finally be happy. They left because they knew this kind of love was not something they could give me, but something I had to give myself. I was angry at them leaving, and chalked it up to how every relationship has ended in the past. I lost my way a little more, but slowly it started clicking. I was receiving more signs and synchronicities than ever before, they weren’t just coincidences anymore, I started wondering if I was losing my mind. At the same time, I started questioning all these thoughts in my head too, slowly picking apart where this anxieties came from. I was working through my traumas. The more I questioned these thoughts, the more I realised by myself that the drugs were hurting me greatly and I wanted to be better. I put myself on the waiting list for rehab, and the list kept growing longer and longer - I called every week, they kept telling me no beds available, and I got frustrated. I was ready to move on but I believed I needed help to do that.
Something clicked and I realised the idea of needing help to be sober was my insecurities speaking. My ego was speaking. I didn’t believe I could do it myself because of my past. That day, I woke up. I’ve been sober ever since. I’ve been alive ever since.
The separation is what made me the person I am today. It took time, but I started listening and trusting this Divine Power which has been guiding me. This allowed me to then trust my own intuition and allow my inner self to guide me. I am learning everyday, and sometimes I wonder where in my spiritual awakening I am. Is this just bliss? Is my dark night of the soul coming? Will God stop speaking to me someday? I realise this is my ego speaking, my insecurities and anxieties of going through more traumas.. I am free of addictions, attachment, trauma - if they arise again, which they may, I know it will be another lesson. And if God does stop speaking to me one day, that’s okay, because I speak to myself now. There’s two voices in my head now, not just one.
It’s incredible seeing this video now because I realise it’s been out for so many years but I found no information before when I tried so hard to put words to what this incredible connection was. Watching it now, I realise that if my old self watched this, I would dismiss most of the advice and probably say “nah, we can’t be twin flames then” at the thought of a separation. I truely believed we were meant to be forever, and nothing could stand in our way. This video came to meat the right time. I was smiling the whole way through.
This is exactly what a Twin Flame relationship is. It is looking a mirror image of your own soul, and realising how truely remarkable it is to see it for (perhaps) the first time. When it is lost, your ego will be deafening, but now you’ve had a taste of your own soul and it’s still there - begging to come alive. You’ll start listening, and if you trust your own intuition, you’ll find that happiness you had with them within yourself. I wish I could put into words how beautiful that is.
Whether or not there is a union, a Twin Flame relationship is a blessing. I look back on our relationship with so much love and gratitude. I’ve shared my awakening with them, and it’s up to them now to whether or not they would like to try again. I know in my soul I am okay with any outcome they give. If they decide not to, there will be pain, of course, but it will be another lesson and I know I will truly be okay. I know a rejection from them will not be because they don’t love me, but because they have searched deep and are listening to their own soul. I have found closure in not being with them, and now I have found closure by at least letting them know that despite not NEEDING them, I WANT to share this blessed existence with them. I don’t need a union to experience existence.

I love your story and the mature way you chose to handle things. Congratulations on addressing your addiction and pain. Few people have this level of courage. I hope you do end up with a loving an respectful partner, even if not your TF. Healing is the most precious gift anyone can receive or give.
Attachment is a ego perception. The idea of attachment is built on the lie of separatism. When the veil of separation is lifted you can see clearly how ridiculous the idea of attachment is. The twin is you, attachment concept out the window.

Especially in this day and age.. currently I am dealing with a very deep connection to another person... though I understood the gravity of this relationship immediately, I am also a Muslim. And we have an understanding of this type of connection. And the explanation is that the two souls have met before in heaven. We believe that God had created all of the souls in heaven. Before Adam was sent down to earth, Allah/God pulled all of the souls out of his back and called us all to attention. And in that arena of space and time, some of the souls met each other, and they were either repelled by one another OR they got along very well. And as a Muslim, we have been advised that if we have an instant connection with another person, we knew them in heaven and we liked them, even loved them... and on the flip side, two good people could have met in heaven and not liked one another at all... that’s why you will meet some people and they will instantly rub you the wrong way... so this explanation, though I find it fascinating, I can’t buy into it this wholeheartedly. They call this Ruhani. Ruh (rooh) is the soul. Ruhani meaning soul connection.
Maybe the word is detachment instead of attachment, just saying.
I met my twinflame 6 months ago and my life has been changed dramatically. And what I found is you don't need to be together with your TF or have to be couple with twin flame. Its the strongest love that you can manifest in 3d world. Its even more than connection between family members. Its about spiritual love. You don't need to label on it as a friends or romantic partner because connection itself is more than that. When you limit to your soul your ego generates extreme fear and your twinflame runaway. And the pain will be 😅😅i dont want to describe it deeply lmao. But they are pushing you to grow up by giving pain. Be thankful for it. Your life will be beautiful and once you gets control in your life you can manifest whatever you truly want by law of attraction!. And once you start to grow up, your vibration becomes very strong which means that you can also attract your soulmates easily. open up all the possibilities and just feel the love, grow up with the strongest love. When I first saw her, I didn't think anything about it. I walked out the door and one minute later I was hit by a very intense love and a voice told me, you have found your wife, (past tense), so love at first sight is a past life coming thru. Too Intense when you are both married :( I was finally able to walk away, but will never be the same.

Twin flames are suppose to be our "perfect match." I love absolutely everything about my twin flame. It use to bother me that my twin flame triggered me so much. I did not even know what a twin flame was until two years into the relationship. Now everything makes total sense.
Dear Victoria, It seems we both met out twin flames about the same time. For me it was Spring 2016. There is a huge age difference between us as well. I am 17 years younger than my DM.

This literally made me feel so much lighter about the “relationship “ that I’m currently involved in. I love him so much but up until right now- I didn’t understand why it was so hard to be with him.. (I mean, talk about DRAMA) but it was because we attached ourselves to one another. its very true, I learned pretty quick, sink or swim kinda thing, the faster I let go, the more things started to fall into place. That's true. At the time, I only had one friend who was also in a TF relationship and I was able to confide in her. But yes, the attachment is the killer. Once I learned to let go and not have expectations, work on self, and it took 7 months, but I refused to attach myself, then he came back when I least expected it and I had even forgotten a bit about him lol. It is a life experience I have never had before it was crazy

I didn't experience much of the magical moments of twin flame, so I didn't even know if we are or not, but the pain was so intense and unexplained when we separated. I almost predicted the details of the separation before it even happened. And the self-doubt, jealousy, insecurity, sadness that followed was the most intense I've ever had in my life. I had to look inwards, identify my unhealed wounds, go on healing myself. I feel I've matured more than many years combined in a couple months. Maybe this is the purpose of this connection. This video makes my heart feel much lighter. Thank you!
My twinflame husband is in the afterlife. The repelling energy prevailed and it took the physical separation of death to bring us together as one.
That’s why I can never let him go.. he’s always free and does what he wants. And I always wondered if that’s what I had to learn myself. Recently I told myself that No one is my Soul Mate, I am My Own Soul Mate. That realization hit me hard. Everyone keeps telling me to block him and move on, but my intuition can’t. I understand that I may not have any control over this whole twin flame thing, so I might just find a way - the best which is loving myself better and taking care of myself - to survive during the separation phase .. It is really hard to reach that level ( in my seperation more than 4 years).. when you reach that leavel if both side is happy on their own feet then union. ( otherwise really can be destructive)
I soooo agree! I'm new to this whole twin flame thing in my relationship with my man. But everything is adding up. So far the reason for meeting your twin flame is for the soul (both souls combined together) to fully evolve into it's full capacity. Sooo if you happen to actually meet your twin flame and for some reason yall are not together and never will be in that life, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of meeting in any era in life at that time? Or can they still be considered to be your twin flame when you're only supposed to meet your flame in that particular life and not in another life? Isn't that the purpose of them "meeting" so they can be together as one to evolve? Especially since the bond and connection between your flame is supposed to be stronger than the one you have with your soulmate. I guess that's where the difference is?.. I think I get what you're saying, but that's how I feel also.

YESSS!!! Many years ago, I surrendered any ideas and attachments I had to the idea of twin flames/soulmates, knowing that we are all interconnected beings who are always mirroring one another. Those of us who’ve been actively doing their work, deactivating from old stories, beliefs etc, who are coming into alignment through integration are finding the wholeness within. Therefor opening the portals of aligning with a being who is as whole in themselves as you are within yourself.
My twinflame is my everything I can't even smile and laugh without her it's the very first time of those my relationship that I feel so complete with her even we often have fight but our love is still...
You must be an Aquarian or so who's open to embrace all, that the line between the One you really love with your soul is blurred between all the other lesser loves. We know what we experienced. We know who we loved most. We know it's different from everyone else. We know the experience is beyond 3D experience. We know the connection is real and never before experienced and will never ever be experienced in the same way again. Yes, we are all One but we must distinguish that love for the twinsoul/twinflame from all other lesser loves because it is really not of the same capacity and intensity. Not of the same power and level of consummation. It's incomparable with all the other love one have even known. So, it's not true that saying "I Love You" is not the most important thing. It is the most important thing if not the only thing that matters, that both must be very clear about it, so that both of you can heal of past, present and future rejections, abandonement and separation. So that both of your soul can rest and let go in peace, if ever you cannot be together. That knowledge, awareness, understanding and realization( very important) that you both love each other so deeply no matter what will be the guiding light, the refuge, the healing salve, the strength to carry on on your journey apart from each other . Only with that knowledge and understanding (very important to set one soul free) can one rest with one soul and let go. Can let each other be free to pursue each soul's mission with other souls until it's time to come back together again whether in this plane of existence or in another dimension or lifetime. If you haven't done so, tell your twin if you're apart from each other that you love them so deeply no matter what. That will help them let go, heal their soul and set it free from anything that undermines that divine connection.

Wow, what you said is so on point. Especially the part about telling your twin flame that you love them. Because if they are indeed a reflection of yourself then to say to them, "I love you" is to express self-love and that is the basis of all love. If you cannot love yourself, you cannot love anyone else. I think that one role of the twin flame is to teach us how to love ourselves.

In the past I was so attached to my partner. The thought of a brake up would have me 5 minutes from a mental brake down. But now!? I feel a love so strong, I can't even put it into words. When the thought of breaking up comes, it's painful. But there's this thing that happens where Im just like " all I want is for you to be happy." Like this peaceful, resting feeling. Not an overwhelming feeling of ego that is like " I own you. I can't live without you.' I really would want the best for him. I feel in return, he respects that I love him enough to let him go. I married my twin flame and I didn't know it until watching this video. You're right! The more I try to cling to a connection I know we already have the more she repels. When we're jealous it repels us, but when we're free it brings us together. When we want to be around each other but can't be, it makes us angry that we're not with each other, but when we miss each other and understand we have to be away for a moment it makes us appreciate the time we get to spend together even more. Not going to lie it was a hard pill to swallow and my first thought was how much I didn't want to release attachment but after thinking about it it definitely makes sense!

I just finished watching part 1. I was thinking how I know he is my twin flame. I was thinking how everything you said just solidified what I already knew. And I could never get why he really tells me that he loves me, never really got angry, became I know he loves me, but it makes sense. And our relationship is 100% different from an ordinary one. I've met my twin and you're absolutely correct! My life has changed immensely! I met her when we we're both at very low points in our lives! When we met it was so beautiful! We both had the same feeling of knowing each other, even though we just met. We shared the feeling of being safe no matter what. We felt like we were in our own little bubble. We are currently at a stage where we are both repairing and learning for improvement, which means we are physically not together. However during this physically separation, we've been finding ways to keep in contact. It's almost is if we are drawn to do so. Like you said as we, when some had passed some time together, we did start repelling each other and the weirdest things would had to cause conflict and I remember reading that if the two are having issues the cannot be worked through together, and if those issue turn into many, that it's inevitable to separate and fix what need to be fixed in each other, before there is to be a reunion. For me this was very painful, but everything you said definitely helped me. I totally love that point of view and it so makes sense to me. Than you for that. I felt like the luckiest man on earth, when I found, but in the back of my, I wished I hadn't, only because I know I didn't understand the connection and was so afraid of separation! I was so afraid a was gonna loose her!!!

This video just kind of blew my mind. I am going through an experience that might fit the description, and I felt even before watching this video that exactly the tips you gave were the best way to move forward. The part about telling the person in question "You are free" hit me the hardest, because it is just what I have been doing (in meditation) for quite some time now, after being reminded by the person in question of the value of letting things go.

I am loving this series. I feel that I especially resonated with the "You are free" part in this video. I believe that missing someone to a certain degree when you are apart from them is healthy because it is a marker of the depth of the connection, but at the same time I agree that it is very important to feel light and unattached!

I know right!!! That's exactly what I was saying. But having a bond is different from having an "attachment" and if you truly have a bond with your tru flame, then there is no need to be attached. Being attached shows insecurities. For example you're so attached to your twin that you don't like for them go out with friends or family without you or at all. Maybe due to a little jealousy or being insecure due to being so attached... but if your with your tru flame then you have what they call "blind trust" for that person. So whenever they do want to go out with friends, go out of town, or knowing their around other men or women, you know in your heart you have nothing to worry about.
@@mscece1900 What our jealousy and insecurity shows us are the very things we need to work on absolving and acknowledging within our selves. Once we can balance those feelings we actually become closer to our Twin. It's hard and the road is dark but we must do this to free our Soul from lesser fears - like jealousy, insecurity, doubt, anxiety. We are together in this "holy mess" so you're not alone. Peace within.

We feel attached when deep-down we feel a sense of inadequacy or doubt with the connection - when we feel any tiny sense of insecurity about the love in a connection. When something is so deeply understood without any doubts, like the love in this kind of connection, you have no anxieties about it, and can just relish and enjoy it, and expand together.That happens once you trust, and realize that the connection isn’t going anywhere, no matter what happens. 😊 It seems this kind of connection is about furthering the internal freedom of each other. Referring to the definition of “attachment” I believe the word she really should’ve used is “obsessive” or “possessive”. While I agree you need to maintain your individual identify in the union, I don’t think telling people to lose titles and attachment is the correct way to put it. Also there needs to be a balance of LIGHT and DARK within all of us and I don’t feel this woman has any darkness. Love and light ignores half of the polarity of deep dark energy that is just as important for evolution and overall attraction to your partner. Positive(light)masculine energy and negative(dark)feminine energy are needed to sustain the relationship within yourself and your twin.

I found someone and I was like why I feel this strong feeling, and she feels the same, but the "relationship" can not work apparently we get together, we fight, and so on. but we love each other deeply, and these videos are making me understand things. I kept trying to push a "normal relationship" and it doesn't work. but when we have a more free relationship we're great. all is making more sense now.
I absolutely love the way you explain this. Been on the journey for over a year now (mostly in separation). This attachment concept is definitely a major thing to work on. I agree that the whole 'it's inevitable that twin flames will unite in this lifetime' only increases attachment. I pray we can all truly reach this level of lightness.
