For those who do not know yet, since this is merely a lip synch. Billy Idol never has a bad show. And the vocals live are how you’d want to hear them (eg sounds like the studio albums). Billy is and has been for decades one of the hardest working entertainers on the planet. SO… like his music or not, you can’t take any of that away from him. Never seen a live show where he merely clocked in. Always 100% from Billy.

My husband and I went to a restaurant on the night wedding night. This is was small restaurant int a small city, but I asked them if they could play something with Billy Idol. They could play and "Eyes Whitouth a Face" and they did it. My first dance with my husband was to this song.

what a song..and what a performance..
THIS SONG!!! The significance of it is so very poignant and never endingly reminiscent to me personally. My ex-husband and I were on the verge of divorcing and right before that time, he had bought a bronze sculpture that was in essence just a head of a man with holes where his eyes would have been if he would have had any. I always hated that sculpture, but he insisted on buying it. Later on, he kept continously playing this song full blast on our stereo. In retrospect now, was he trying to tell me something? At the same time though, when I heard the song and thought about the way I was feeling and what I was going through with him, I felt like the lyrics were screwed up because I always thought that I was the one singing the song but the name of it was "Face Without Eyes", meaning the face without eyes was the sculpture, which signified to me what I thought my ex-husband was - a face without eyes, the eyes being his soul, which I realized had disappeared, at least in our relationship together. I can now see that the song was referring to both of us - me without a face and him without eyes. Either way, we both realized that our relationship and marriage was hopeless. Twenty years later, this song stays with me, and I know it always will.
