Based on your guide and map location in the video, I tried fishi g with the same gear casting out to where you did and had no luck. So I turned around and cast toward the opposite shore where your back was facing. The lake spot there is much more deep at around 80 feet. I let the spinner sink and caught a huge silver lake trout on my 2nd cast. Great guides on all of these.
I also found that spot was good for gold and silver burbot on a medium grub with a size 5 large hook, basically use the same method for lake trout and u can catch both
Is a size 3 lure that much different than a size 2? Been using a 3 and I’ve only landed 1 fish in total. Hell, only bite I’ve even had. Thanks for all these guides by the way, they’ve been so helpful.
