While watching this my emotions went from stupid to funny to clever to sad all throughout this entire video!!! Surprise this movie actually had a deep underlined message in it.
Same! I love the fact its so under explained. It just presents the reality in it as it is, no explanation for how or why or when it started, just "this is how realty is, this is the life they live and only way through is by following the set rules, zombie-like". It gives this feeling of lack of control, blind trust, you know just as much as the character does and it leaves much more room for emotion.

It's because those professions heavily rely on appeal to vanity but youth doesn't last forever and the fans and followers who were only in it for the physical appearance of the celebrities and influencers will leave.
It's not easy for guys either. I have just as many males struggling with eating disorders as females in my group. We need to stop acting as if males don't experience body disphoria. This goes for sexual abuse as well.
The only difference between the plot of this movie and real life is pretty much that the prisons don't need to be run by guards. Influencers are perfectly happy to make their own gilded cages.
Peer pressure, financial dependancy and a deep instinctual need for peers validation and interaction are the guards. You under estimate how much human beings can be affected by social pressure it's written in our dna and very hard to resist because it's connected to our survival instincts.
So basically she was living in a luxurious cage which was bounded by social media influences. Indirectly shows the reality of social media dominated world.
I can see us becoming a version of this within 50 years if we do not "wake up".

An hour? Iv edited before and 10 minute clips can take multiple hours. Especially when they have to use a robot voice which they have to put in the site then record each word. It most likely took 4-10 hours to edit voice and cuts and 2 hours to get footage and script

I don't really see the drama here. Were the celebrities born this way, so that they don't have control over their lives? Were they forced to become influencers and earn trillions? I highly doubt that. I think it was their own personal choice, and one must take responsibility for them. We're never shown whether these influencers signed a contract with the company and then were brainwashed or their memories were erased, so the only thing left to assume is that they were placed into these cages voluntarily. So why would I emphasize with an ultra-rich person who was so greedy for fame they opted to become a corporate slave for the sake of getting more people's attention?
I realize I'm being super toxic here, however, it was also in this very movie: question everything
