    I really love these wellness check videos, not as a health practitioner but as a mom. My son is a couple of months younger than Piper so these videos have been roughly lining up with his own development, and it's interesting to hear what are some of the things my pediatrician is looking out for/milestones/etc. Also Piper is so stinking cute, makes me so happy!!

    This video is so helpful. I can imagine mothers at home are anxious about going to appointments due to covid. This must be so appeasing for new moms. Thank you! I believe all moms should know this information.

    What do I do if my baby isn't rolling over on her own at all at 4 months in either direction? Should I be worried if she shows no interest? She's been able to life her head fine for a long while but around the 3 month mark she just decided when placed on floor or mat for tummy time she'd rather lay there and suck her thumb. I try to entice her with toys or talking to her. I even help her move through the movements of rolling over. She may on the odd time reach out for a toy and do side laying while playing but its very rare. Her thumb is the only thing she wants durning tummy time. I've been doing tummy time throughout the day since she was 3 days old (umbilical cord fell off) but its like she's just not interested in it anymore. Anyone else have this happen? Any helpful suggestions to get her on the track to this milestone would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    My little one is 4.5 months old now and he doesn’t consistently look at me. He does track when I show him a duck in the bathtub but it took me a little while to get his attention. I’m wondering if thats normal at this month of baby’s age..

    Just wanted to watch because curiosity. When is it ok to let kid be alone in the tub? My 3.5 year old likes to play but I have to normally move on to the next thing so I give him bubbles but drain the water so it's just the bubbles then go do what I need to do and he tells me when he's ready.

    • @NurseLiz
      @NurseLiz  Před 4 lety +1

      This is such a hard thing to draw the line with. If its just bubbles, then it shouldn't be a problem. The thing that would make me nervous would be that he could somehow turn the water on and close the drain. But again, ANY kid could do that. So its just a judgement call! I probably wouldn't leave the door closed in the tub until they were well into elementary age (when there's water in it)

      @@NurseLiz ok ya! Right now we're in a small apartment and he's turned the water on once without me being in there and of course I ran into the bathroom and turned it off. Thank you!
