PA student currently on my peds rotation, I don’t have any kids of my own and have always struggled remembering the milestones. Thank you so much for these videos, they are extremely helpful!
Really helpful for review as a Medical Student gearing up for rotations 😄 Great energy and great explanations! Thank you!!
Awesome video! Thank you for the 4 month assessment. I am a nursing student right now in my first semester and this video was super helpful as we are diving into assessments.
I really love these wellness check videos, not as a health practitioner but as a mom. My son is a couple of months younger than Piper so these videos have been roughly lining up with his own development, and it's interesting to hear what are some of the things my pediatrician is looking out for/milestones/etc. Also Piper is so stinking cute, makes me so happy!!
yay! I was hoping it would be helpful in that way to some people as well!
Thank you for the really interesting video!🔝
Very good; thanks for the work, it helps
Thank you for the well child check videos! Hope you keep going with this series.
Thanks! Unfortunately, it kind of got lost in the shuffle, but maybe I can bring it back in the future!
This video is so helpful. I can imagine mothers at home are anxious about going to appointments due to covid. This must be so appeasing for new moms. Thank you! I believe all moms should know this information.
That was my hope! Thank you for the encouragement.
Can’t focus on exam too distracted by this little angel hahaha ..too adorable
😅 at least she's a cute distraction! lol
Cute answer and maybe biased.
Very good stress free instruction; stay away from the 'Crow-nites.'
Adorable. Helpful demo but yeah... very cute too
Thank you! 😊
Hello what is the name of the background song at the end you used for this video? Thanks
Thanks for for another great video.
Thinking of you and your daughter!
Nurse Liz Thanks Liz. Things are going okay; she as an appointment on Monday.
When will the 6 month we’ll visit be released?
What do I do if my baby isn't rolling over on her own at all at 4 months in either direction? Should I be worried if she shows no interest? She's been able to life her head fine for a long while but around the 3 month mark she just decided when placed on floor or mat for tummy time she'd rather lay there and suck her thumb. I try to entice her with toys or talking to her. I even help her move through the movements of rolling over. She may on the odd time reach out for a toy and do side laying while playing but its very rare. Her thumb is the only thing she wants durning tummy time. I've been doing tummy time throughout the day since she was 3 days old (umbilical cord fell off) but its like she's just not interested in it anymore. Anyone else have this happen? Any helpful suggestions to get her on the track to this milestone would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
My little one is 4.5 months old now and he doesn’t consistently look at me. He does track when I show him a duck in the bathtub but it took me a little while to get his attention. I’m wondering if thats normal at this month of baby’s age..
Why can’t they have a blanket or stuff animals?
I'm in Ireland and we don't have well child exam we only go when sick
I use to live in Mexico its also like that only when sick you went to the doctor
Hello, would you recommend going for an ABSN or Accelerated MSN program?
I have a video coming out on tuesday on this topic!
@@NurseLiz Ok, thanks, I'll be waiting.
Hi Liz! How often do you see newborns in the office?
Totally depends on where you work!
Just wanted to watch because curiosity. When is it ok to let kid be alone in the tub? My 3.5 year old likes to play but I have to normally move on to the next thing so I give him bubbles but drain the water so it's just the bubbles then go do what I need to do and he tells me when he's ready.
This is such a hard thing to draw the line with. If its just bubbles, then it shouldn't be a problem. The thing that would make me nervous would be that he could somehow turn the water on and close the drain. But again, ANY kid could do that. So its just a judgement call! I probably wouldn't leave the door closed in the tub until they were well into elementary age (when there's water in it)
@@NurseLiz ok ya! Right now we're in a small apartment and he's turned the water on once without me being in there and of course I ran into the bathroom and turned it off. Thank you!
