Yeah... that would be the owners son. I've been coaching him for quite sometime. He is becoming quite the bowler!
Normally he practices along with me when he can unless im recording.

Love the energy and competitive mindset 👍. Seems to be paying off! Any reason for 8 game practice session or are you really pushing for regional? Seems tough :o

      Thank you.
Regionals are 8 game qualifiers. I'm practicing 8 games for endurance and to be ready for 8 game blocks.
It's a lot of practice yes, but I don't want to waste my time. It gets easier the more you do it.

Got my young son (14) practicing with the PVC pipe. His comment is it doesn't feel anything like delivering a real ball but I told him it's more to keep the shoulders in motion together so I hope it helps him. He seems to struggle keeping his elbow locked on the downswing & release as well as getting a good slide, he tends to just plant the left foot. Maybe push with the right leg on the last step?
Keep up the great videos, great analysis which is really helpful. I'm a long time one hander so try not to give him too much advic, as I don't want to screw up his 2 handed game which has it's own nuances.

      The pipe will definitely help.
Keeping his elbow locked in on the downswing could be related to his shoulders, the pipe may help him understand this.
A good slide is only developed with one step drills. I do have a video out talking about this subject.
      Thank you for the compliment!
I would recommend having him watch my keys to the two handed game playlist. It may help him correct some basic problems he's struggling with.
If interested please reach out to me on Facebook for lessons.

@@BigSkyBowler We have taken a few lessons from Ron Hoppe since October, so my son is progressing well since he's only been bowling for 4 months. On the way back from a lesson today he bowled a personal best so we were very happy. He did practice some more with the pipe last night & Ron was working with him on his right arm & release today. So do you do lessons from remote or how do you work with people that are remote? We're near Seattle. Hope you had a good day of rest. 😉

      @@AustinBoil that's awesome!
With virtual lessons, you would send me videos, I would critique them and send them back with a video lesson outlining what I think needs improvement and how to work on it.

Love the instruction but PLEASE lose the rap music. SOOOooo annoying and distracting. I love your videos when there is no music and I can focus on what you are saying and doing.

So you would prefer nothing during shots of me bowling?

@@BigSkyBowlerI like the music so long as it isn’t terrible but nah this was good for me. If you bowl without any music and it’s just silent idk I get really bored during that.

I'll take a look at some other options for the next vlog. I would prefer some background noise instead of just dead silence and the ball going down the lane.
