It's so obvious that, like so many tech products, the Kindle has been carefully designed to avoid any repairs / battery replacements etc. Amazon just want people to throw them away and buy new ones.
Не верьте роликам о том что поменять батарею легко и просто в течение пяти-десяти минут! Если соберётесь заняться этим будьте готовы к тому, что заднюю крышку придётся отдирать буквально с мясом, даже если у вас есть весь необходимый инструмент, и в лучшем случае вы сломаете ТОЛЬКО 1-2 боковые защёлки (у меня сломалось три, пришлось для плотного прилегания садить уголки на клей). А в худшем есть риск порвать шлефы боковых кнопок (они находятся в опасной близости к краям), или того хуже, шлейф дисплея, и тогда ремонт станет уже экономически не целесообразен. В общем, взвесьте ещё раз свои силы и силы специалиста, который за это возьмётся, - Amazon постаралась что-бы заниматься такими вещами было практически бессмысленно.
Есть ролики где отклеивают сперва фронтальную рамку и потом получается легкий доступ к защёлкам. отстёгиваем их, и в центр где приклеено греем и проливаем изопропиловый спирт оно легко отходит. крышку выгибаем и достём верхние и нижние защёлки...
Considering that the biggest thing about replacing the battery on a kindle is opening and removing the old one, I'm not sure what you are complaning about. I still use this particular kindle from time to time even though this video is atm from 6 years ago.

I think you should use the hairdryer several times during removal of cover, it will cool down over a couple of minutes.
And before trying all that, I had one last try to reboot the thing, and it worked. Technology is wonderful!

The back clips on but they glue it down anyway 🤷
