A little about myself:
My name's Jon Eleyet and I like making videos about guitars! Sometimes the videos are about a goofy guitar that I made out of Fruity Pebbles, other times it's a tutorial about guitar tone. In either case, my goal is to make your life better by giving you a laugh or unlocking a new skill. - Hudba
Hey man - great video!
I have Gt100 and after watching a hundred videos, yours tells me exactly what I have to do to record... Cheap!
Thank you, sir - keep up the Good work.
Very clear. Managed to get it running in about 10 mins. Thanks very much
This was super helpful thank you!
Jon, great video.
I have a GT-100 working as an interface. I have installed and configured Audacity, and I have followed all the steps. I can record perfectly.
My problem is that the guitar sound is only coming out of one monitor and although the volume on the monitor is set to maximum, the final volume output is quite low. The output level, master patch level, and pre-amp simulation volumes are all properly set.
I have connected my GT-100 (L/Mono and R) to my monitors (Edifier Mr4) using two cables, with each cable connected directly to the corresponding monitor (L and R).
I hope I have provided all the necessary information to help me solve this problem.
Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance.
It's important to mention that if you use the USB recording method then the GT100 will output the clean (unprocessed) guitar sound as well as the processed sound. Assuming you setup two tracks in your DAW (one for clean and the other for processed) then you automatically record the clean sound so that you can re-amp your recording later if needed. Using the Jack Plug method into an audio interface does not allow that.
Fantastic! Thank you very much! 🙂👍💯🎉
Hahaha your funny man! Nice tutorial! Cant wait for more! By the way thanks for that worship tone tutorial! Very useful!
Hey guys! Which recording technique do you like to use?
Jon. Since you use Ableton, do you use any amp / cabinet combos when running it direct or via MIDI? Thank you.
I used boss me 25 interface directly to audacity simple and great way to record guitars i dont know why its not recognizing audio output as boss me 25 please help me out with settings
My friend got a problem when He tries to record with a drum kit going on, the guitar track recorded is the guitar + the drums kit. and we want just Cubase to record the guitar only. Is it anything related to 7:42? Cuz I think I set up all the settings correclty. In Cubase Input is the gt and output is the audio coming from the computer

It is alright if I plug the gt 100 to a line in input on my interface? The port does not have a gain knob to it like a mic input would have.
I could record the guitars using boss gt 100 through usb but why does it sound different in the DAW when the same patch i play through phones output sound good??
I tried downloading the driver for windows 10 but it doesn't have a setup in it
How to simulate Bass in gt100 while playing guitar
Please create a patch for phenomena hillsong and show us.
Please play the bass patch on Gt100 while playing guitar
Hi, which method sounds better in your opinion - via USB or via audio interface. Thanks!
USB is usually best!
@@JonEleyetGuitar Ah ok, thanks.
anyone struggle with usb volume level from gt-100? mine is low, even though i went in to the usb menu and maxed it out to 200%
Check the gain and output levels of the preamps. They may need to be turned up.
@@JonEleyetGuitar you were spot on thank you
Best free Daw in my opinion is Reaper
Mine, usb not detect on computer 😢
assuming youre on windows 10, you gotta allow apps to access your microphone. ran into the exact same issue, and after i turned that on, everything ran smooth
Is there any way to install this on Windows 11? I've tried a million things without any luck... Any help would be highly appreciated... Thanks!
I had to disable memory integrity in security settings to get the driver to download properly but worked fine after that.
IMO bad choice of thumbnail photo.
you don't smell what the rock is cookin??
