as a new RV6 owner, I can appreciate the skill needed to fly that well.....impressive! (I may borrow a few seconds of this footage to show what the aircraft is capable of doing in the hands of a good pilot!)
Agreed, takes a lot of hours and practice to know your aircraft this well. Brett is amazing in any aircraft, but this is especially good to see, as it shows what can be done in the RV6. Enjoy yours!

Nice flying, and beautiful airfield! The wing on the RV's still kinda scare me! I know they are designed well, but wings have come off 3's, 4's, 6 and 7's and 8's. Just can't get that out of my mind. Stay Safe!
I see you don't have noise cancelling headphones. Is your aircraft as quiet as it sounds in the video? Also where did you learn to do aerobatics?
It is pretty quiet, the Clarity Aloft Headset used has better noise suppression than most others so makes it really nice. Self taught aerobatics a long time ago, formal training at times around the country for specific aircraft and preparation for US Nationals.
My dad has a luscombe, a cub, and a citabria. I am 16 and want to get my pilots licence. My dad used to take me out doing aerobatics in the citabria but sadly had an aortic dissection and nearly died. The FAA actually doesn't include this as a heart problem so legally he is allowed to fly. I really want to get an RV6 and we are hoping to sell at least the luscombe.

Yes, you are right about that. Everything from build it yourself, to almost completed kits, to flying airframes. Best of luck working towards becoming a pilot and aircraft owner! That is very awesome!

Nope, have to keep it positive G all the time to keep it running and have oil pressure.
