This is very well made. I like the dichotomy between alpha's teenage and adult poses, which highlights in a great way the changes in the relationship. I've also liked that Davebot has been shown on the image with the narrator -Dirk- talking about Jesus. A nice allusion to child, and later teenage Dirk looking up to his brother, making him a paragon of the exemplary behaviour and attitude, even after two hundred years after his death. Even though after meeting in the new session Dirk acknowledged Dave as his own person, a human with issues, problems, and struggles, Davebot, or Ultimate Dave, is the embodiment and culmination of Dave's all virtues (but negative traits and behaviours, too). tl;dr- good job! Honestly, ive been trying to forget about homestuck for years now since it kinda triggers negative emotions but your art is so good. A little depression is worth it if its for the sake of letting the world know how good this is. Amazing job !!
I love this animation 😍, it just brings out my love hate relationship with the epilogues. "Hot take" the epilogues are entertaining and watching my favorite characters have their lives spoiled is kinda awesome and sad and meloncholic. Thats coming from someone who's favorite ship are rosemary, DirkJake, and Junerezi. Its just kinda entertaining to watch all of my favorites DiE. The Striders are my favorite characters. Everything that I loved was especially ruined by the epilogues and homestuck beyond canon but i like love it and i have no idea why but it is so fun to read- what the hecaroonie
