Any study tips on Patho? I need it for a program I’m applying.
Hmmm. I made a paper for each disease and studied that way with a combo of flash cards. Good luck!
Ashleigh Nicole Thank you, appreciate it.

Aww your so cute 😂❤️
Hope nursing school is going well for you! What state are you applied to?
South Carolina
Did you do any extracurricular activities such as volunteer work?
My school doesn’t look at any extracurricular activities. They only look at your GPA and TEAS score. So I didn’t do any volunteering.
Congratulations! Mind my asking the school you applied to and also whether their statistics for student acceptance were within your TEAS/GPA? I'm honestly curious how much schools deviate from their "preferred scores/gpa." I know a lot of schools bolster the requirements but are lenient in acceptance rates. Thanks in advance!
I applied to the school I did my pre request at. My schools teas score minimum was like a 58 and gpa was a 3.0 I believe. I felt pretty confident because my score and gpa was much higher than these requirements.
Is the TEAS test before or after prerequisites?
During
So after high school do you go straight to nursing school or something else. How does that work?
So you take prerequisites like all your science courses and gen Ed’s so like math and English. That usually takes 2 years then you apply to nursing school in your 3rd semester. The last 2 years are spent in nursing school so going to clinical and taking nursing specific courses.
Ashleigh Nicole Thank you 🙏
Did you use books for practice tests?
For the TEAS Exam?
I used a practice test through the ati website! I find it easiest to study through practice tests personally.
It’s crazy the TEAS test was replaced with the ACT in 2015 in Alabama
In Alabama
Wow. I feel like the ACT was harder than the TEAS for sure
what state are you in?
SC
Getting a B doesn’t mean you suck in a subject, we have to normalize getting B’s, that’s okay!
What’s you Teas score?
I believe I said it in the video. I can’t remember off the top of my head
