    The second have of this tutorial I Implement my own edge on the flower. A sort of cross between a lotus and a lily.
    I didn't have my camera oriented properly in the first few minutes, but it gets better. Enjoy!

    Adding a toilet paper or paper towel liner for the metal doming punch will save your texture just what I have learn from trial and error . great video really enjoyed

    Great video tracy. When you don't want your solder to remelt on the stem while you're soldering in your stamens: make a paste with 'yellow ocre' powder and dab it on any area where you want the solder to hold. It'll be a game changer for you. 😘

    Those flowers are soooooo precious and adorable! ❤❤❤ I wish my saw skills were good enough to cut out little flowers like that but sadly I just have basic jewelry saw skills but I'll get better eventually and will definitely try to make some flowers. Thanks for the tutorial! 👍😃

    • @TracyGrossDesign
      @TracyGrossDesign  Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for watching! Yes, you will get better and once you find your rhythm you’ll sail with it. Btw, these flowers are so organic looking, a little bit of wonkiness in the sawing will only add to their natural look! Try practicing on some cheap copper sheet from a hardware store. Happy smithing!

    Fun vieo. Thank you! What do you use to color your solder so you know which grade it is...? Soft/Medium/Hard* Also, what flex are you using that you spray? That's nice.

    • @TracyGrossDesign
      @TracyGrossDesign  Před 2 měsíci

    To keep your texture put a piece of craft foam sheet underneath your flower while doming it.

    • @TracyGrossDesign
      @TracyGrossDesign  Před měsícem +1

      If you’re talking about the players with the white tips, it’s just needle nose, pliers with gorilla tape over the tips to keep it from scratching the metal

    Great instruction. Thank you! Question about the sanding disc you use…can you tell me what it’s called where you bought it? I have something similar but very fine grit. Would like something that actually sands something down. Thanks.

    What guage silver sheet do you use?

    • @TracyGrossDesign
      @TracyGrossDesign  Před 27 dny

      Hi! Usually 20 or 22 gauge, what ever I have on hand. 20 I feel works best and holds the hammered texture better
