- Dryrobe seat covers are really amazing. Earlier this year Dryrobe sent me a set of their van/car seat covers. In this video I update you guys with my vans build progress where I'm converting my ex British gas caddy maxi into a micro camper. And I also review the seat covers from Dryrobe.

I bought INKA waterproof covers neat fitting with armrest sleeves and Airbag friendly.

Yes. I personally think the airbags would still work and they are just covering themselves.

how much did the multi function and cruise control set you back if dont mind me asking? as currently missing them both from my caddy and looking to get this upgrade also 👍
Yh no worries it cost £170 to get it fitted and coded.

Hi Will, how do you find these seat covers on a hot day? The website says they'll keep you cool in the summer as well as warm in winter.. Do you find they're comfortable on hot days?

Hey, umm I wouldn't say they are any hotter, I haven't really noticed tbh, I guess maybe they keep you cooler? Ahaha thinking about it they deffo don't get roasting like a car seat normally would.
Van looking good. Why don’t you spray your old bars black. I think they will look great black with bigger swamper style tyres. Cheers 🍻

@@willsvanadventures I’ve had bf Goodrich A/T on three different vehicles. Honestly mate the road noise and the extra fuel is very minimal. Outweighed by how your van will look.
Who did you get to modify your mutli-function dash? I have a caddy camper and would be great to add these features, did you go to a VW dealership or was it a 3rd party garage?
Hey, oh awesome that's great! Yeah makes it so much better. So I went to a 3rd party called Bellman's Autoelectronics. VW can do it but they'll charge you over £100 an hour for labour alone.
gutted, i had these in my basket for my caddy but ended up going for the northcore ones as they didnt have the towel like fabric and i was worried about sitting on these in my wetsuit. i havent put electrics in mine, i am using portable power stations and ive found a cool usb rechargeable light on amazon for the interior lighting in the back.
oh no! Maybe you could return them? I gotta say the towel stuff is a winner for when your in a wetsuit haha. The portable power station is deffo the way forward with the recharge lights. That sounds like a good set up! Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@willsvanadventures too late now mate I’ve had them in the caddy for a few weeks. I’ll keep them for now but I may change to the dry robe, the north core ones are a bit baggy.
Dryrobe say they are not airbag seat compatible. In an accident the insurance company could use this as a reason not to pay out

Nope, they are waterproof and so far have been great!
They don't even fit properly. The best? Definitely not.
Are you sure? Mine fit quite well.
