    Thanks for the great review! I also thought this smelled like hairspray or the kind of alcohol scent from a beauty supply store initially, but over time it that has evolved and really grown on me. Now I absolutely love it and I'm so glad I gave myself time to become accustomed to it as it's a gorgeous and luxurious scent. Performance and longevity are incredible as well which I appreciate.

      Hello my friend, thank you for the kind words :) Yeah, for the price you do get a very special product and it's still cheaper than many Rojas. What else do you like from Xerjoff?

    • @MicahCastro
      @MicahCastro Před rokem

      @@razvanyke Yes, definitely cheaper than Rojas especially if you can get it on discount. From Xerjoff I love Naxos, Uden, Uden Overdose, and Starlight. I have a bottle of Torino22 as well that I won in a giveaway and I really like the opening but the dry down is a little musky on my skin for my taste. I also love 1888 from their Casamorati line as well as Lira.

    This was a great review and I related to you perfectly when you said you might get in love with it if you smell it and you'll want a bottle 😂 that's exactly what happened today. To me, it needs a bit of time to develop on the skin into something woody, vanilla rose sweet but not in a sickening manner. It has a perfect balance and perfect warmth to it. Having been spoiled with Amouage fragrances over the last 5 years, I've developed a sense and nowadays I can immediately smell artificial scents and alcohol in perfumes which is a big turn off for me. Xerjoff achieves an amazing result with Alexandria ii. There's no chemical or alcohol smell, just really good quality. I sprayed it on my arm in the shop then outside in fresh air with the gentle breeze it smelled so delicious, so warm and rich and deep that I was literally paralysed standing there in the car park unable to move. I felt compelled to go back to the store and purchase it. It gave me such a sense of happiness that I had not had with a perfume in a very long time. It is indeed extremely expensive, but so far to me it seems like long lasting and extremely powerful, so definitely worth it. 😊

      @@razvanyke oh, I am a very big fan of perfumes and I've developed a great sense of smell and knowledge about ingredients. I actually like strong perfumes. I remember the day I purchased Opus VII now Reckless Leather by Amouage. It transported me to this dark, earthy but super powerful place making me feel invincible and I sprayed... A lot! I took a taxi and the driver opened the window in the middle of the winter 😂 I think it had something to do with the fragrance. Alex II is not the same. I feel it's much more sweet and feminine so perhaps that's why it might be too strong for you.

    Xandria is around a 90% dupe, and Gritti's Beyond the Wall is like 80-85% (lacking the oud). I wear A2 as a signature, mainly in business-formal occasions. Great fragrance to stand out with, especially if you're from a country where niche perfume is basically invisible/inaccessible/unaffordable to most people.
