A great song for graduation. :D My son and I love this song. He has autism and getting to graduation has truly been a long road.
To boldly go... where no man, where no one, has gone before
Not while I was sober....
i realize I am kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
@@keatondavion6706 ahh
I think if u get a memebership vip, u can access to these in a lot of big sites like Netflix, Disney plus, paramount plus etc
"I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days ...." Right when the Challenger crew is walking by. That hit me really hard in the feels. Great job.
Yes, perfect timing! And so heart-rending!
I feel u man
Space...the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's continuing mission: To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.
Be nice to make a ship like starship enterprise but even a interplanetary enterprise ship would be great
Such a craft would have to be built 🎉 in space in sections
Heard also the 1998 Robin Williams Movie, "Patch Adams"
But I just always associate it with ST:Enterprise and I am happy to see they used it in the tribute to the actual space program.
Other than Russell Watson and Rod Stewart, I've seen other covers, but Watson's is my favorite.
Thank you for not showing the actual disasters, themselves. They live behind my eyeballs enough... especially Challenger. I saw that one happen live on TV. Sat and cried for hours, solid.
This song isn’t about faith, it’s about believing in yourself and break the rules.
Probably more like use the rules as guidelines not as excuses
Every step we take; every breath we breathe; every wish we make; every push to achieve...is first one, single, brave act of faith.
It's been a long road, getting from there to here
It's been a long time, but my time is finally near
And I can feel the change in the wind right now. Nothing's in my way
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna hold me down
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart
It's been a long night. Trying to find my way
Been through the darkness. Now I finally have my day
And I will see my dream come alive at last. I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more, no they're not gonna change my mind
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart
I've known the wind so cold, I've seen the darkest days But now the winds I feel, are only winds of change
I've been through the fire and I've been through the rain
But I'll be fine ...
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe. I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul. And no one's gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star. I've got faith, faith of the heart
Thank you! I was about to look the lyrics up. Love that song! We all need that kind of faith!
You actually choked this old jet jockey up!
Seeing Gus, Ed and Roger while listening to this song made my heart skip a beat :(
Marty theMartian yep 👍
It should say who they are. Kids these days have no idea. 😥
@@koori3085 maybe it will encourage them to look deeper and find that information on their own!
Aside from the shuttle names and years, they didn't even list their names! And for this to be an educational video, but not to mention the most famous school teacher in the world? Shameful ...
@@MaryAnnNytowl Christa McAuliffe was amazing, the online school I did for HS yrs ago is named for her. They are all heros and hopefully, children will learn about all of our space farers!
Great video, covered just about everything, but left out brief period of our space Themed history- Skylab, and Soyez venture
In 74 - 75?, Brief but counts as space exploration in line, with the true tradition
of the Star Trek lineage
Can’t wait to see the version of this in 10 or 15 years. There’s exciting times ahead again once more!
Wow! I got goosebumps when you showed STS-51L and transitioned to the first stages of the ISS. Though I admit...while it fits well metaphorically and chronologically with the song...matching STS-107 with the lyrics "I've been through the fire..." yea... I know there's not much that can be done, and it's certainly meant in the best way possible.
Not so very long ago there seemed to be no limits to how far we could go. I imagined my grandchildren reaching the stars and beyond. Now we have lost our way...we no longer reach for the heavens or admire those brave souls who achieve great things. Instead we look for pathetic reasons to be divided, we live in fear of the ignorant hive mind, and timidly celebrate those who have the most victim points. Sadly, humanity has hit its plateau...we will never escape this piece of cosmic driftwood. Civilizations that allow themselves to be enslaved by the corrupt do not reach for the stars...they die under the boot of tyranny. But my grandchildren will hear of the amazing dreams we once had...
Space shuttle still looks fantastic even today on take off.I have friends who worked on the programme.
They all came to my 60th birthday party in the united kingdom. All my close friends at NASA and Lockheed Martin Skunk works.I was so proud that day they came over from America.Happy you have no idea, the joy in my eyes.🤣🤣🤩🥰🤩😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍
Hopefully the dream will continue it has to.
The intention of space is peace but if we want soar past earth and live on other planets we will need special astronauts trained in the military operations and the application of advance combat tactics to ensure the safety of all who soar. I hope to see the day we embrace on of the last 2 frontiers.
We must

The dream should be about all of humanity ....
Nice Song; I like it. I hope i can anytime touch the ground of the moon too 😍😍😍.
Lovely tribute.
Still look superb the moon landings today in 1969 and the shuttle flights of the 80s/90s.
this is great.
You must be touching GOD when you are in space the creator of everything must be watching you reach space in a starship.FANTASTIC it must be.
Very nice arrangement. Thank you for not showing 51L launch, that is the must gut wrenching piece of film ever.
Afreakingmen! I think those images are burned into my retinas... I watched it live. 😭 I cried solidly for hours, and cried on and off for days, afterwards. I get physically ill whenever I see that footage especially when I'm not prepared for it!
@@MaryAnnNytowl I was only a year old, but it's one of my first memories. Seeing my family's response I suppose, so I know the footage instantly. But Columbia's accident was far worse to me, because it seems there should have been a way to save that crew. Even if it meant ditching Columbia into space and coming back on Russian capsules. At least they made it up there though... God Bless, hopefully we won't see another incident. 🙏🇺🇸
wow mi fa venire la pelle d'oca
One of the reasons I watch episodes of Star Trek Enterprise on Netflix. Some of the footage and this great song.
If you've watched it on Netflix then you aren't a true Trekkie that watched it when it aired.
@@obliviondio Don't write when you do not know me or the facts. I have watched all the Star Trek series when they aired from the original in the '60s. Yes , I am that old!
@@doctorrobert60
That's questionable when you said you've watched ENT on Netflix when it's been out on DVD and Blu-ray yearssssss before Netflix starting offering it in 2016.
@@obliviondio Whatever you want to believe. I did not post to get into a useless internet discussion. Have a good day nevertheless.

Sounded like you did want to get into one because you did respond the first time
Good Flight Artemis 1!

The dream of my father is to be a good man and I hope to live up to. His execptions
I think you mean expectations, not exceptions.
FANTÁSTICO! EMOCIONANTE!!!!FÉ NO CORAÇÃO!!!!
I have a very famous cousin who invented and designed the Concorde engines and Harrier engines.
Moon landing of 1969 fantastic day in my life that day.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds,-and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of-wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air ....
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark nor ever eagle flew-
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
Saturn 5 rocket still looks fantastic on take off today.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have very close friends who work at NASA and Lockheed Martin skunk works scientists and engineers.I am also a consultant systems design engineer for the Skunk Works Lockheed Martin also BAE systems and Rolls Royce.
