In this video we will compare 3 different exhaust systems. Up first is my 2021 AWD Kia Stinger GT AWD with the MBRP Pro Cat Back only. I have an @LOZICUSA ECU tune, which is why you hear the pops and bangs. Second comparison is Papa Fall's 2022 Kia Stinger GT with the Ark mid pipes / secondary down pipes paired with the Borla cat back, one of the loudest Kia Stingers Ive ever heard! Last, I throw in a clip of a 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 with the Borla only cat back.
New M&S Rear diffuser showed up and will be a following video.

A black stinger with red interior is the best combo, plus it's clean without all the crazy diffusers and splitters, I've got the same setup 🔥
It is an amazing combo, love cars like that. I’m not drilling my diffuser I’m going to apply it w 3M though and try it out, it’s prob the most conservative rear diffuser I’ve seen
Good stuff per usual man 🫡
Thanks Parker , appreciate the comment 👊
Nick, always use edgeless microfiber towels, so they don't scratch the paint!
Ser thats a clean stinger! I got a VelosterN but am planning on trading it in for one of these. I also keep a few micro fiber towels in the car too.
👊 heck yeah! I know someone with an N who just jb4 tuned it, that things scoots! I really like why Kia / Hyundai are doing by reinventing themselves
0:50 Your car will look so much glossier once you get a paint correction done to get rid of the swirls and have a ceramic coating applied.
I’ve done it a few times since I owned this car, it’s been 3 months since I corrected and ceramic coated it. This paint has been a battle literally since day one , I bought the car with 2 miles on the dash and once I got home in the garage I seen swirl marks, then I had them send a pro out to my house working from home, took him 6 hrs and still wasn’t perfect. Even doing it myself, one automated car wash and they’re back, paint quality is definitely poor compared to all my Lexus cars prior to the Stinger
Always keep microfiber towels in my car. Even add a few extra for long road trips a spray bottle of water to clean bugs from the front bumper, and window cleaner.
Thanks for the comparison video. Nice work. I was able to secure one of the first 5 new MBRP 22+ exhausts. Can’t wait to get it. Next will be the Lozic TCU but I’m nervous about ordering and what all the numbers mean. Any help/explanation would be great.
I just seen that on the K8 store today , sick man
When you message him on Instagram he'll ask for your email to send you the order sheet and a breakdown of the options with descriptions.
Clean car bro 🔥
👊👊 I’m about to release a rear splitter install video that papa fall and M&S gifted me in that Chicago meet vid, Clean!
LMAO when I first heard u said you were going to test the E30. I knew that was getting spilled I did the same thing until I got that down
Last time I did good 😅
I have streaks on my dashboard above the steering wheel by wiping it with microfibres and those streaks are like a white colour. Can this be repaired or have I completely ruined my dashboard? :(
Gotta keep the microfiber towels on deck. One in each door pocket.
Nice exhaust! Im in the process of ordering the TCU from lozic. What specifications did you get? I’m confused what to do with the excel document he sent out
TCU is great, mine is - shift pattern -13% , shift pressure 1, torque limits off, shift pattern B when auto up. It’s more conservative but doesn’t seem overly aggressive. It will put more strain on the torque converter but use the launch in moderation, it takes some practice but makes a massive difference off the line
Two things why -13% instead of -5 or -8 which seems to be the most popular options. Also why torque limit off ? Why would you be wanting to get more boost after 2300 rpm off the line it seems like the sweet spot without risking damage to the transmission.
Similar question. The order form defaults to shift pressure 2. Why 1 vs 2?
@@freelost1248 shift pressure 2 is going to make the line more firm and shift a tad faster, -8% seems to be a popular choice , but keep in mind a subscriber and Lozic agreed to send me this TCU tune. I as well as the subscriber we’re looking for a conservative TCU that has torque limits off, this will greatly take advantage on the AWD system and give you complete control on the launches., you will have to feel it out but I would never launch fully over 2500 rpm, I’ve seen people light up all 4 tires but that’s a ticking time bomb. I’m pretty happy at 3.7 sec and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break or shift rough ever
@@mikem9047 firmer / faster shifting, would be best for performance but the difference isn’t enough to justify and hard / rough shifting for me. Though I don’t have experience with any other settings, this is more of a conservative approach
Hello Brother, I just bought a 2021 GT1 and ordered the injen short ram intakes and looking at the Borla exhaust. I'm not looking to drag or race, but looking to beef her up. So my question is. Do I need to do anything else because of these items?
You will want to order the jb4, you can just run map 1 or 2, doing this will help the car not go into limp mode when you floor it. Intakes alone I had no issues, but when I added an exhaust, I would go into limp mode a lot, esp when colder out. I have a link for it below if you use it , that will help me make more vids
I've been driving on map 3 with e85 and 93 mixed roughly 3:1
what do you think about the Flex Fuel kit???
I think it’s a good idea, I’m going to make a vid on that soon. Tuning is all about fuel and timing, I felt out my last pump with trial and error and just knew what to put it and it ran strong on map 3 always, however, since getting this e30 mixed gas only now it is much more consistent each time I do a pull, the flex fuel kit will take all of that out of the equation and you’ll know exactly how much ethanol is in the tank, bc not all e85 is pure , most of the time it is actually e65-65
@@twn2rbo sounds good. Looking forward to it
Borla sounds such with down pipes! Does he just have secondary?
Yeah made a huge difference, did you hear the turbos just purrrrrrin on the initial start? 🔥
@@twn2rbo I sure did, I have the borla. After hearing that down pipes are a must.
@@OVRBoosted for sure 👊
When done with the test bottle where do you put the rest?
I pour the contents in a large bottle and put it in a cabinet, once it’s full I take it to Napa around the corner and they dispose of it. There are places in each city that will take it just have to google it
I love the Borla...the wife would disagree though. :p Oh yeah, I have THREE microfiber cloths: interior, wheels, and car surface. They are in different colors so I don't mix them up.
Lol James get it man! 👊 Borla is a great exhaust, I like it more each time I hear it, but I’m going to add secondaries on my MBRP since I already have it
@@twn2rbo I already have it. The wife isn't a fan though, but she's in the minority compared to the rest of my family and friends. 😁
What is the website to get the E Badges and other goodies for the stinger?
Kmd warehouse or k8 stinger store
I got my e badge from K8 and the rear stinger emblem from KM Tuned
@@Alex-lp2zc thank you!
@@twn2rbo thank you!
If you wanna dry the exterior of the car, you should definitely grab Monster Drying Towerl by Work stuff - it's amazing and waaaay faster! Cheers!
If you have a good ceramic coating or PPF a leaf blower works great. Then just use the microfiber towels for the small spaces that need more attention; inside the doors, fuel filler, open the hatch , open the hood to wipe down/ blow out any water from the engine bay.
@@mikem9047 I do have both! WIll definitely try this out! thx :D
Try using P&S Express Detailer instead of the Zep.
I’ll give a shot , pretty good stuff?
You know it man always having microfibers in the car is a good thing
Also cannot wait for my gas tank to be empty so I can put E30 in my car my Speedways got it and also a couple other stations
Yessssss 🔥💨
How you installed that radar
Good idea for a vid. Maybe I can make a shirt on it, but I purchased the entire kit from BlendMount , not inexpensive but it’s high quality and they have an RJ11 wire tap. I had to modify the pins to make contact, that’s with the smallest ones provided, but much better than running a wire through the car
1:14 dude what bov is that and intakes?
Injen intakes, factory diverter valves , it’s just tuned and lots of air moving
Why do u not have burrples i must have burrples. What exactly causes that sound ? I have them now occasionally at like 2krpmbut a pretty wild drone on whyway that i cant stand.
I end up adding them later on. That is a tune and you are hearing un burnt fuel igniting after the exhaust value. You typically don’t want to have your cats on the car as it can melt them
@TWN 2RBO so I thought my stinger was stock. Is there a chance it's not? I'm wondering now if I have an after market exhaust on the one I bought. I don't think it is tuned though . It is fast and I want to tune for sure .
@@Brooklynn_Sting tune will make all the difference in the world
how did you get that flutter????
You talking about the turbo flutter?
@@twn2rbo yessir
@@poppygranny6741 that was from the new ADD W1 BOV springs being too stiff. I ended up removing those, you don’t want turbo flutter, it’s very bad on the turbos. Sounds cool yes, but very hard on them.
Don’t you love it when Kia Stinker owners spend $1000s on exhaust and it still sounds like $&%#*+ shit.
Actually, the mbrp exhaust is not thousands, it's hundreds. I think it's 900 if you go full stainless. I know I spent a pretty penny on my Bassani midpipes and dynatech catback for my Ford ⚡. It sounds mean as hell. I wanna get something for the Stinger but I don't want it to sound obnoxious like all the other imports and Euros I hear driving by my house.
That depends on what you think sounds good. 😉
