Hey Zak! If you like these kinds of architectural things and urban design (which I'm a fanatic of, too), I highly recommend you head down to the Chettinadu Mansions of Karaikkudi, Kanadukathan, and Athangudi (all near each other), and you can also visit Madurai, Thanjavur, and Tiruchirappalli at the same time. There is also an architectural museum called Dakshina Chitra near Chennai which shows archetypes of houses from all over South India.
Outside of that, I would also recommend for you Hampi, Belur, Halebeedu, Bhubaneshwar & Cuttack, Ajanta & Ellora Caves, Mount Abu, as well as Orchha, Khajuraho, and Gwalior. Many of these are places most travelers don't go to but are well worth seeing. Probably Ladakh, too, if you can make it.

India still have a long way to go interms of Hygiene and infrastructure but we will get there. You can speak the truth it may offend some Indians but not my type of people who want our country to improve. Yes nitpicking bad stuffs about India does not sit well with me. India does have awesome things to share there are places which many tourists dont even know about, its a diverse country in people, culture, Language and Geography, also the largest civilization among the 4 from ancient times.
