OC Transpo Bus System (July 2019)

Enjoy this video recorded last July of the OC Transpo transit system in Ottawa, Canada. Since the last visit in 2011, a new light rail system was built, Double Deckers and Novabus LFSs have been added to the fleet.

OC Transpo has a very interesting fleet of buses. Everytime I hear the sound their D60LFR's makes when they start moving, it reminds me of CTA's New Flyer buses

4:30 too bad Oc Transpo is getting rid of their hybrids. I heard though that they are following TTC and Calgary Transit for CNG and battery-electric buses

I 100% think that Ottawa should have kept at least all the express routes going into downtown. So many other cities have much better, more complicated transit systems and I wish ottawa had the same.
