- I was one of the first in the world to sample the new Civic Type R! Ride along as I take to the track for the very first time in Honda's most exciting new car since the S2000. Road review and commentary coming in Part 2.

Thanks for the insightful and honest review, it's good to know this car isn't perfect as it seems.
Thanks for your comments as always! Glad it was informative. I think it's the perfect car, for the right buyer.
I think the car had been running all day. This is the harshest track review I've seen. I wouldn't solely go by this review alone
Good job, Sam!
Hey, thanks Tara! Good to hear from you! Looks like you're having fun and doing lots! Keep it up!
Great review Sam !
Thank you mauizy!
Cool review 👍 not too bad looking, the look is growing on me. Red seats look good but red trim all over the interior looks tacky.
But without the red trim, how will you know if it's racy?
Haha! I tend to agree about the red trim.
They should have had the other driver give you a point by.
I agree, but rules were no passing. Oh well.
Whats your feeling about this Type R? Does it improved in Performance to the old Type r 2015? If you drove both. Handling etc. what is better whats not...have so many questions about the new Type R.
sry for Bad Englisch
Unfortunately, I never got a chance to drive the 2015 Type R. I really wish we got that one in North America!
they dont allow yoi to pass other drivers?
Unfortunately not.
did the car overheat?
Not in my experience. It wasn't that hot that day however.
That man in the passenger seat is ruining the video. He needs to pretend he's not there
Doh! I didn't have anyone beside me during the track drive but yeah, we had to pair up for the street portion. Sorry it was distracting for you! It's not ideal for me either.
comon let him drive the car freely, pass the slow dude
Thanks Manco. I wish they would let me pass, but rules were no passing.
Looks pretty understeery.
I'd have to agree, it was pretty understeery. It was better in my first session out when the tires were still fresh. By my second stint, the fronts were toast.
