When I was in high school, some 55 years ago, my uncle gave me a copy of this very record album, and I was mesmerized by the sound and intricate music produced by the Swingle Singers! I was already familiar with "Switched On Bach" by Walter (now Wendy) Carlos and this album was like icing on the cake, so to speak. By the way, I still have the album, and it still sounds as good as ever! Thank you for jostling my memory to this delighful music of the Swingle Singers!
When I was 3 years old, my mother, an accomplished musician, brought home this LP. When she played it on the stereo, she didn't think I would like it, but very soon I became intrigued by these voices singing obligato to tunes already familiar to my little ears. To this day, I admit I'm not very musical, but a great and appreciative listener.

My daughter and i found it by accident one day in a thrift store. I was attracted by the word baroque. Glad we chose to do a random buy!
