    A very big thank you to Tru Earth for sponsoring this video! I can't believe it because the food in Toronto gets better and better. As usual, I'm very grateful to all the viewers for recommending great restaurants and those special hidden gems. I was informed of a wonder Japanese BBQ restaurant called SHINTA who serves up Wagyu Beef... but not just any wagyu beef, they offer the certified Japanese A5 Wagyu beef from Kagoshima. And it even gets better because they offer an unlimited endless amount of Kagoshima A5 Wagyu!
    Of course, one cannot dine on wagyu alone and they offer many amazing dishes with a great seafood selection such as their giant tiger prawns, succulent scallops and all are unlimited. With the Kagoshima A5 Wagyu and along with many other wagyu cuts like the US SnakeRiver Wagyu to the Australian M9 Wagyu and more, it'll be quite the adventure to taste, compare, and contrast the different Wagyu meats from around the world. Like a buffet of Wagyu beef from around the world! I can't think of another opportunity to have all these great wagyu meats in one place. Thank you again for the great recommendations and thank you for joining!

    Great video! Thanks for taking us along, Tim! So, if I understood correctly, the Gold Wagyu Menu was $145 CAD, plus the Certified Japanese A5 Wagyu option was an additional $100 CAD, bringing your A5 Wagyu meal to $245 CAD(or ~$195 USD).
    Not exactly a cheap date meal, but something to try at least once in your life. Thanks again, Tim!

      Japanese wagyu is really the best. If budget is an issue, Australian wagyu is certainly a good alternative. However i would recommend Mongolian beef over Australian wagyu any day if you’re lucky enough to find some. Mongolia is where Japanese black cow originated from.

      I think if you are heavy eater, even 245.00 / unlimited a5 they may end up loosing money with you.
      If you eat 2 pounds ,mean there hard cost is at least is 200.00+++
      245.00 is profitable only if you took 4 peoples ,3 light easter and maybe one medium.
      Only heavy eaters will force them.to close or aband all you can eat😀😀😀

    Looks lovely. Will they bring out a clean cutting board to rest the cooked meats on if you ask, so you're not putting the cooked meat on a surface which held raw meat?

    • @TimLeeLetsGo
      @TimLeeLetsGo  Před 2 lety +1

      Ahh, yeah, I did use the same cutting board...not the wisest move, but it was a calculated risk between contamination and additional plating space/over cooked wagyu. 😉. Thank you again Illume Eltanin 😀

    SHINTA - a place reviewed by TimLeeLet'sGo that I can easily get to. Love that the meat is not just a wafer thin slice of beef. You can really get a good taste when the piece is more substantial!!.. And its only 4 hours from my home city. This is a 1x only thing for me and there is one other Toronto-based Buffet I am considering. One is mainly Seafood and this one serves the best A5 Wagyu Japan has to offer. I'm leaning toward SHINTA ..

    Another excellent video! What a feast... Last time I had Waygu was on the top deck of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Not only was the view sky high but the paying $125 Singapore dollars for a hamburger was worth every penny when you tasted that fastfood. And the fries weren't bad either, haha. Thanks again.

      @TimLeeLetsGo  Před 2 lety +1

    • @allanmoore4840
      @allanmoore4840 Před 2 lety +1

      @@TimLeeLetsGo Yeah, it was an experience, given that the Singapore and Canadian dollar were basically at par when I was there. Hopefully, the Wagyu burger is still on their menu given that Singapore has been and still is quite locked down during Co-vid. But one thing that Singaporeans like to do is to eat out, so it very well might still be there. I never really looked for Wagyu in Toronto so your video was greatly appreciated. I saw it on the menus in Vegas steakhouses all the time when we could go there, but often its American Wagyu not the Japanese Wagyu that the hamburger was made of. You're right, the Marina Bay Sands complex and the surrounding area is a wonderful walking experience. Particularly, the Gardens by the Bay on the backside of the Sands is a phenomenal experience.
