    Nice Denise, you are an absolute boss for agreeing to go out with the Angels. Thank you for doing this! It's hilarious how the pilot just talks normally when the rest of us have basically turned into jello against the seat during the turns.

    As a Mission Crew Commander Air Battle Manager on AWACS that controls all military aircraft in combat, we communicate who to attack, when to run, where the tanker is, send search and rescue helos, etc and it gets difficult talking with them as they are pulling G's and in the middle of a shooting war so there is lots of grunting and groaning while deciphering comms between us and them. She did really good. They wear speed jeans which are pants hooked up to an air compressor and they pump and squeeze your legs as you pull more G's to squeeze the blood back up to your heart. Even wearing those speed jeans its not hard to pass out and you still have to concentrate on breathing and squeezing your glutes.

    Lady, whether you realize it or not, you had yourself ONE HECK of a Blue Angel ride! Your pilot showed you a lot of the tuff stuff and all you did was smile nice and pretty. You were outstanding! Thought you were pulling out a barf bag and it was a DAMNED CAMERA. Good for you. Everybody will be wanting to watch your videos over and over. (And thank you, Blue Angels. These are the best recruiting tools ever.) If I were 21 and not already a pilot, I SWEAR I'd go join the Navy all over again.

    A really good video, sitting in the fuselage of either one of the Boeing super Hornet jets or "Fat Albert".
    While on flight, the Blue Angels take you past the Space Needle. Visitors to the observation deck of the Space Needle applaud as we fly past.
    Truly a bird's eye view of Seattle.

    That is so badass. I’ve loved the blue angels ever since I was a little boy. My grandpa was in the navy and had all kinds of metals with the flag all in a custom stand. Blue angels and top gun were some of my first memories as a little guy. I was going to go into the navy but my girlfriend who is now my wife begged me not to and I caved.

    Even though they do the max G earlier in the flight, passengers always seem to have the most trouble with the carrier break at the end before landing. Curious how she did. Is the full video somewhere?

  • @EricBurgeson
    @EricBurgeson Před 7 měsíci

    She was really stressing out pulling those 6 G's; when their head is swaying back and forth, that shows how extreme that flight really is; pilot was very professional!! The minute he said we will be at 7.5 G's for ONLY 1 minute, I would have said, no thanks, 5 G's is enough for me!!! All these ladies going on these Blue Angel flights ARE YOUNG, 25-35 years old, Navy must have an age restriction. In a previous video, a girl passed out briefly 2X then woke up; certainly a "teenager's game"!!! Especially since you may still be "out" when you land!!! One girl after about 4 of those 6 G manuevers said, I'm ready to get this thing on the ground, pilot had to help her out of the seat, still "wobbly"!!!
