Honestly one of the most beautiful actresses of our time. If she was a film star, she would be considered an all-time great beauty.
God, I miss her. She's like a breath of fresh air! Bring back Melrose again! The real one I mean not that 2009 stuff....Heather deserves better than that!
Absolutely loved this show in the early seasons. A little too much drama in the later seasons unfortunately. Watching it now, I love how it took place in a time before cellphones and the internet and social media became so invasive in our lives. Simpler times, indeed.

She's very right about that. Friends and Melrose were 2 shows that people got together for. Well, I think South Park was another. I really don't know of anything today, although, I"m older now and out of the loop. Heck, I don't even have friends anymore. lol

Do not get me wrong Heather Locklear brought some spicy/spice though Kimberly Shaw & Sydney Andrews example had 1- one of the best storylines, was entertaining & interesting
Agreed, I loved the redheads on that show. But bringing in Amanda was when the show decided to change it's course to a wackier one. Ratings went up and the writers decided to go all in with the crazy storylines.

MP went ultimately "All About Amanda" from season 5, after Jo left and Jane, Jake, Alison and Kimberly followed in a row. Anyway, I never felt it was Heather's fault: bitchery is always an upgrade for any show (even one-season wonders like Models and CPW), and she played what she was payed for. What did upset the audience (me included) was seeing "good guys" like Jane and Jo becoming resentful and hopeless and bitter individuals.

yep, this. jane was my favorite character -- "sound and sweet" is the perfect way to describe her and exactly why I loved her. she was a bright, shining light on that show and i was rooting for her, so it was tough to see how her environment changed her. i was so happy when she went back to chicago and got her life back on track. i felt the same about sarah owens on the spinoff, "models, inc.," when she became an alcoholic.
Wow she looks great! The 1st season was awful for the most part when it tried to be 90210 for the social issues but 20 somethings & then when Heather came on near the end & it became a nighttime soap then it was great. I think season 2 was its best esp when Kimberly revealed the scar that shocked everyone. Like she was presumed dead returned a little off than pulled off her hair to reveal this hideous scar & her hair barely grown in. So u knew ish was going down w/ Kimberly that the accident & head injury meant crazy time that Micheal caused it & covered it up meant revenge & Kim was still a MD so she was also smart a very scary combo crazy & brilliant!

One person (s) does not make the show etc….. it is an group effort, you can not do it all by yourself,, am not throwing any shade against/on Heather Locklear
After most of the original cast members left for what reasons it kind of or was not as good, like season 1-5 or 1-4 the best just my own personal opinion

I really hated Taylor and Lexi...more than other character and then Allison followed...she just annoyed me .. I was happy when she left...Lmaoooo

With all due respect, Josie is wrong. MP was set to be cancelled, because it was so vanilla and even more so after the directors sent Vanessa Williams packing. HL had a spark that brought back viewers and they ate up all of the out-of-this-world Kimberley madness.

Yes they do jossie game of thrones , Melrose was I liked then it became old really fast in 1993 as did 90210 , NYPD BLUE , X- FLIES then in 94 it was over friends and ER , 90210 and Melrose became day time soaps.

She should have taken the De Niro movie. That would have made her acting resume on fire.
