I go extremely red at the slightest embarrassing thing :(
ExSpectre so trusworty
ExSpectre marlonyo So trustworthy, much red, wow.
ExSpectre Yikes, painful.
Why is laughing or yawning so contagious?
Alfonso Castro For yawning it lets large aborts of air into your brain causing you to be more alert, and when you see someone yawn, your brain thinks it should yawn too, so you yawn.
Here's a question: Why do they call it going commando?
Because you're in charge !;)
I believe they went over this on man woman wild, that TV show. The guy said that when the special forces, or "commandos" if you will, were in swampy environments, they couldn't wear underwear as it would cause eventual.. rotting.. of parts that they didn't want to rot. Kinda gross, and idk if it's true but it's what I've heard
How does rain always manage to get on the inside of my glasses?
I'm always blushing I think I may have a problem.
Aidan Scroggins you have anxiety! I have it too. Being on medication helps a lot!
Aidan Scroggins Are you a nudist who is trying to live in a clothed person's world?

Question: Why do we get a head rush when we stand up too fast?
It has to do with the change in pressure exerted at a different height.
The quick pressure change can cause nausea etc
thassMH Gravity. When you stand up, the blood gets pulled downwards. When you do this more quickly than your heart's pumps can adapt to, you get a brief moment where there's less blood higher up than lower down in your body. You may notice that one of the highest parts of your body is your head, inside of which is your brain; so for a short time, your brain has much lower blood pressure (because it has a smaller volume of blood) than usual, giving you the head rush feeling (also part of that is the blood in your face draining in the same way). Once your heart pumps just a bit harder/faster and makes up the difference, getting blood back to your head, the rush goes away.
IceMetalPunk Awesome, thanks for the detailed response !
I only blush when angered or because of physical exhaution. That matches well with running away from the cops. They catch me and see me all red and let me go.
Razzfazz87 lol!
Did you just mention Groningen? I lived in Groningen and I actually studied there. So awesome!
Such a excellent video! :) Keep up the good work ;) Hugs xoxox
❤️
Men that blush are too damn adorable though!
I have a question!
Why do we moan like RAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUAUUAHAAH when we stretch?
It's because we are descendants of dinosaurs.
UnitedJupiter We learn it. Not everyone does that.
Really? Wow, I've never thought that we might learn that. I always thought that it was natural
Oh yeah. People are weird. Did you know even babies cry with an accent?
now i know you're making things up
Why are humans on average taller in today than they were hundreds of years ago?
They're not necessarily. If you're talking about fairly recent history then yes they are, mostly due to nutrition etc which allows someone to grow to their maximum height. But if you're talking evolutionarily we are not the tallest subspecies of human, the average height of humans has increased over the last several millennia but recently has dipped so the average height of humans is not taller than that of our ancestors.
Josh Ignatowski Like Georgia said, its mostly due to better nutrition and quality of life, which makes us grow taller.
Josh Ignatowski Breeding towards taller people and better nutrition. Since tallness is now desired more people breed for it. In places where previous generations were poor and/or not westernized they tended to be shorter. Especially agricultural areas where being closer to the ground helped..

'A 2011 study conducted at the university of "Kroeniken" ...' *Dutch screaming*
Haha yeah, it's my university so I'm still proud. But that pronunciation.... oef
I blush way too much, and not just when I'm embarrassed. It's so bad, and makes me pretty anxious when it's happening and I can't stop it. I get embarrassed which only makes the blushing worse!
i have a nagging question that i would love to see a video on, how do you decaffeinate coffee and tea?
jp kurokami not sure how they do it but i know however they do it some caffeine always remains.
Why do we become more goofy/funny as we get tired?
Why does hair turn grey as you age?
Nathan Becker Because hair is made of dead cells, as these dead cells age they turn into ghosts, that is why your hair goes white when you get old.
The first question that comes to my mind is; how do you tell if a black person is blushing? Is it visible at all? And if we all were black at one point in time would there be a point at all to have this trait, this "ability" to blush?
Thereisnosp00000n Yes indeed, black people blush. The reason that it is not apparent to white people is that the black person's skin turns a bit darker when they blush. The white person's red becomes a deeper shade of a black person's normal coloring. Deep embarrassment can turn a very dark person's skin purple.
Dodi Tov Very interesting. Thank you.
Thereisnosp00000n I'm mixed and I blush, it just doesn't show. I can feel it though. My face turns pink if I get flushed though. Weird.
GRONINGEN NL REPRESENT!!!
Anyone else thinking of that episode of Grey's Anatomy where the girl had some sort of blushing condition?
Here's my question; What use are the bubbles/suds in the washing up bowl? All the adverts indicate longer lasting bubbles but all they do is leave marks on my glassware! Are they any use?
I always wondered if the sparkles in those toothpastes that have sparkles in them stay in your teeth even after you rinsed out your mouth...
(BTW the "Spies" in my name is pronounced "Speez")
Question: why does cheese taste better after being melted?
***** or when grated? Whole parmesan isn't good, but grated is awesome. Even grated, smooshed into a ball is good, but still not whole parmesan.
***** A lot of food taste better when heated. Interesting question though.
Question: What work goes into making a Mental Floss video.
So like I blush all the time, not just when I make a mistake, but like always!
I just think it has to do with me being shy.
It can get annoying as people try to make me blush and succeed!
Also guys seem to think it's cute and I don't see it that way haha
Why does a drink (water or soda for example) in plastic cups sweat, but the bottles they come in don't?
How did painting your nails become a thing?
Please answer Chris Kent's question. What is the big deal about suds in dishwater or more accurately on top of dishwater. I don't soak my dishes in a sink of suds. My dishes are below the suds so why are suds soooo important.
I assume it is because the suds carry the filth of the dirty dish to the top above the water, therefore keeping it away from the dish. Just my hypothesis.
gdyrmc gd I believe that suds demonstrate how basic the water is. How basic the water is depends on how soapy it is since cleaners tend to be bases/alkalines. As a result, they are more likely to get between the dirst/grime/oils and your dishes. Make sense?
Why is Craig Benzine so awesome?
..but does this explain why I like the colour red?
Do dogs like the smell of scented candles more than we do?
It's weird being this early.
Why do dogs wag their tails?
the leche-man because they are excited not because they are happy
Money can buy you a pretty good dog but it wont buy you the wag of its tail
Nashyj495 they don't, actually. It is the tail that wags the dog. And since the dog stands on solid ground, the tail wags the whole earth as well. And when too many tails wag their dog-earths at the same time, this is when earthquakes happen. Mystery solved.
the leche-man hey you made a mistake and I corrected you; simple
Oi! Be nice or be quiet! the leche-man babis8142
how do experts determine the number of calories in food or drinks or who thought up of slurping spaghetti 🍝
my big question is why does hair grow on a men's (and to a lesser extent a woman's) face?
Why do some names not have reply options on their comments while others do? Using @ doesn't let you tag them either.

Why do the numbers on the microwave bounce when I look at them while chewing?

Did the discovery of the circle aid in the invention of the wheel
Dong Nguyen Hmm, if they'd didn't have a circle, they could make a block wheel! (of coarse it did, but it took awhile to create the wheel after the circle)
How come when we use silverware when we put it in our mouth it doesn't taste like metal?
Daniel Weiss It does. Have you ever put a clean fork on your tongue? Usually we don't notice it because the metal rarely touches our tongues directly and when it does, it's overpowered by the taste of food.
Daniel Weiss It definitely does. I mostly only use metal utensils for spaghetti and cooking because it messes up the taste of food so much.
Why isn't time measured using a decimal system?
Why is paper wrinkly when it was wet and got dry again?
Why do i get dizzy when i stand up fast?
hehe
I can't blush :( I never have been able to
Why do we brush our teeth before breakfast? Is there a scientific reason or is it cultural? Or can I brush my teeth after my orange juice?
I have never heard of anyone brushing BEFORE breakfast. It just makes no sense.
Hideous Gourd Well if you're not having orange juice then I don't think it would matter, but OJ does leave the enamel on your teeth weakened from the acid, which you would then brush away if you brushed right after.
Hideous Gourd Something I've wondered too. It make absolutely no sense (to me, anyway) to brush your teeth when you're about to eat breakfast, at least if you're eating at home.
Hideous Gourd I think it's just cultural. In England, for example and to the best of my knowledge, it's considered normal to brush after breakfast. As for the brushing after orange juice, dentists recommend against brushing immediately after drinking citric juices due to the citric acid (it would just spread the acid around your mouth damaging your teeth) to they say it's best to wait a bit before brushing after breakfast.
Hideous Gourd I think it's just because the bathroom is the first place we go when we wake up. You know, pee, dump, take shower, might as well brush my teeth. No one thinks lets leave the bathroom, go make breakfast, eat, then come back to the bathroom and brush my teeth.
why do mammals have a limited range of hair colors? Tropical birds have more brilliant colors and so do some lizards. Wouldn't a color like green be helpful for camouflage?
Why is it bad to warm up cold hands with warm water?
Zachary Cox Your hands could be numb, and you couldn't truly feel how hot it is which could cause you to burn your hand.
Interesting. I tend to blush quite easily & I hate it! :(
I don't blush when I am embarrassed.... I blush for no bloody good reason. My face gets so hot you could cook an egg on my face
Hormones? The flush feeling you have - do you sweat when it happens? Maybe sympathetic nervous system still?
Caitlin Sullivan No I don't sweat, I guess I presume its hormone related. its just annoying because I feel my face burn

Symmetrical --- 1 y, no aches.
psychophysiology
Ahhh!! :-]
Why do prices end in .99?
Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways.
But then why do i turn tomato red when it is too warm or really cold?
When it's very cold, your body sends warm blood to colder parts of your body, like your face and hands. The presence of more blood gives the red colour.
When it's warm, you may be getting sunburnt due to the heat. Or else because it's warm outside you are more active, which causes blood flow to increase, giving the reddish appearance again.
Cool and thanks! :)
Could you please answer the question: Why do we make that funny face while eating sour stuff like lemon?
Why do we pant when we get tired?
Why is sea salt better?
I see blushing as a weakness. I don't trust people who blush more. I avoid them. lol
I read recently that your stomach blushes when your cheeks blush. I want to know how they know this.

How do ants stick to walls?
Why do you often find tiny bell peppers inside of big bell peppers?
Those are called seeds.
I think it'd have to be that a seed is propagating because the inside of the larger pepper is ideal. God place to grow a pepper seems to be in a small pepper greenhouse.
