One of these days, I might try my hand at a custom build of Castle Greyskull. Until then, this is one of the best I've seen. Very inspiring. Glad I stumbled upon it.

This CASTLE GREY SKULL that is hand made is the absolutely the magnificent glorious beautiful artwork that I have EVER EVER SEEN that is made by hand and deserve an applause
That is very bold and understandably risky. It is great that the people who made He man, made this Castle Greyskull to enhance the nostalgia. They knew that the He man statue by itself could make one feel something is missing. Much respect for taking the time to put this together. For the media thay used it looks fantastic. The inside of the drawbridge does look unfinished, but all in all it looks great. By the power of Greyskull, I have the power.
Great fun and playful piece which reminds me of my childhood Castle Greyskull too. Often we need to remember, that it was enjoyment and good old plain fun, which made most of us go into this hobby.

That is a wonderful piece of work. I am absolutely amazed that it shipped without any damage! WOW! It is cool that you can change the black mesh to something less translucent and put colored lights inside for different effects. The drawbridge either needs to be displayed closed or flattened to the ground and an upper surface with teeth needs to be added. I love the sculpt and paint along with the dead vines and moss! Beautiful background display piece for a MOTU Statue collection. GOD Bless as always Brother, keep these awesome videos and reviews coming. They always bring joy.
Quick nitpick... Dolph played Ivan Drago before He-Man. Drago appeared in Rocky IV (1985) while Masters came out in 1987. So Dolph was not protecting Monica from Friends prior to meeting Rocky. In fact, playing Drago is what got him hired as He-Man. Also... Jaw Bridge. 😎

Looks awesome, alot of $$$ for the type of materials used. But the craftsmanship is excellent. I also grew up watching He-Man. I used to have the He-Man swing set when I was a kid and it came with battle cat you would swing on!!!!!
I'm a huge masters of the universe fan and that castle grayskull is awesome! I agree about securing the door shut. What an awesome display piece. He did a great job with that. I would love something like that in detolf size for my figures. Very cool!
It looks awesome but i agree with you, the door would be better if it was finished inside and also a way to secure it closed. The detail is just amazing
I kove that he based it on the Filmation design of Castle Grayskull!! Thats my favorite version of the castle because its teeth make it look more like the skyll of a creature rather than a human
That is fucking awesome, and even close up it looks great. It’s foam but you can’t really tell, because the artist knows his shit. The moss effects look damn cool, and so does the door, albeit he should have completed the other side (why didn’t he I wonder 🤔) But keep it closed, and it doesn’t really matter much. Details overall are just great looking. I guess you could easily add extra black netting or some other black material to the back, if you want it more black, personally I would want it less translucent than it is at the moment. When I look at it I think of a movie prop that could be used in a film, It’s extremely well made. And that skull carving btw looks amazing!
I am actually more impress with this castle Grayskull. I think it would look good on a wall shelf. The wall should be painted with the purple sky and blue clouds. Maybe a worn out flag on one of the towers, like the mini comics.
This is just the perfect and worthy scale/size for Classics 🤩 love it! The only issue I have with it is like you said the draw bridge. I would love to own a custom Grayskull like that.
This looks amazing..wish it was greener for some reason. I kinda like it more than the Classics one! But for the price paid i would have gone with a Snake Mountain
looks very cool. but the backside of the drawbridge looks very unfinished. i guess you could use some liquid foam to ''glue'' the drawbridge to be closed, and if you ever need to open it you can just remove that sculptimold i think it is called with a sharp knife.
You can lock the door using little fridge magnets. Glue one on the upper door edge of the castle and the other on the top back of the door itself. Use super glue. Make sure to face the magnets correctly so they magnetize to each other. The magnet route does require a little dremel work on the surfaces, so the magnets don’t protrude, you want a flat closure. An easier method is to use Command Strips, as they are flat and requires no gluing nor dremeling. Easy fix. Castle looks great!
That piece is utterly incredible!!!!!!!! You’re right, if it were made out of anything else it wouldn’t be logical in either shipping or cost. I personally would but about a yard of solid black felt to attach to the back so you can’t see through it but wow what a piece! The artist did a phenomenal job.
