yeah, Borkon claims it's a coincidence, but still refuses to credit them since he came up with it on his own... I think it doesn't matter, you can still say you came up with it but discovered it's an already existing design and credit the other creators. Since he was so touchy about his tunnel bore machine going viral and being copied by others I didn't expected this behaviour... to me he came down a lot.

When it came time to pick which one to link, I thought about it, but ended up giving Borkon the link, not just because I believe he came up with it on his own, but he did a much better job at explaining not only how it works, but his design process. Samos's video is just a block for block placing of it with no description or commentary.
@@greybeardmc You don't credit as inventor the one who "explains better", but the inventor. If you feel like Borkon re-invented it (I believe so) you can credit both, but not just Borkon. Unless you don't care of course.
i love that this video has the 100x better shulker unloader that does empty shulker but a video that came out 2 months ago doesnt, youre the best dude
the first filler design is really easily made into a double feed speed by altering the position of the dispenser to a side rather than behind, and adding a extra hopper into the shulker on the spot the dispenser was at, then its perfect for high output farms with a single shulker filler rather than 2 separate ones by pulling out of a double chest with 2 hoppers! Less resources, but same speed as two of these! :D
PS making the piston section one higher by extending the redstone staircase one higher into a observer with a solid block as spacer to the piston allows you to slab the (sticky)piston and have you be able to open and check in the shulker too. Ofcourse requires one more observer into the other observer to extend the signal one further down to the dispenser aswell :)

For the second design, I use it to make any material that can be craft into block. Just replace the hopper and barrel for the output item with glass. Now I don't have to put shulker down everywhere, forget which one is not empty and take another time to break shulkers. Life good

For the Shulker Box Loader on Bedrock you'll have to remove the Honey Block, or the full Shulker Box will not end up in the Hopper below. This will also allow you to open the Shulker Box while it's being filled.
I just move the chest/barrel and add a minecart with hopper
But then the shulker won't get destroyed it I'll just push it down
I want to commend you for making a redstone explainer video in survival mode. I am so sick of trying to implement designs that are shown by a person flying in creative mode! Well done!

I AM SO HAPPY the first unloader didnt work but second did i tried various unloaders and tried to rebuild them a lot but they didnt work but the second unloader in the video worked and i am happy
for the first unloader: you don't need the target block or the piece of redstone on the ground. The block will pass the signal to the redstone beside it, which will still trigger the dropper.
Doesn't save much, but makes it a little easier to fit it in certain places.

Your single wides have been so big in my work. I am currently adding them to the guts of a pyramid that is a 360+ villager trade hall. i dont know if i could make the underbelly of this place work without them
DUDE THE FIRST SHULKER UNLOAD ACTUALLY WORKS AFTER 2 HOURS OF RESEARCHING
If your server uses lwc chest protection, the piston cannot break shulkers you place, so make sure you use the button method. Note that as a consequence the placed shulker will be unprotected, but the admin might be able to look up who broke it if someone tries to steal it.

Instead of a honey block for the loader, you can just use soul sand or slabs if you don't want to get it
i love the 1 wide shulker loader, i have been using it alot, works perfectly. is it possible to make the loader where you can open the shulker 1 wide?
I’m pretty sure you can make something like that but the size of it gets much larger. Might look into it 👀

sup pal, i spoted a little problem at the first shulker loader. the shulkers do not always go on the hopper under the honey block, maybe some 1.20 changes may make the piston push the shulker out of the loader. a simple change betwen a hopper and a hopper minecart under the honey block totally solved that problem. hoped i helped someone with this😄

Does the second design of the shulker box unloader work with empty shulker boxes?
i noticed you have UI things that showed a) the contents of the shulker box while in your inventory and b) the signal strength of the redstone. what mod(s) are those/is that?
Is it tileable? Can you make the one-wide loader next to eachother?
The issue with the one tile loader is that sometimes the filled Shulker box item will land on top of a neighboring Shulker box and get stuck there

How do the shulkers know what items to put into the shulker I know there an input chest but Is there a way to link a button up to my storage room where I click what I want it to put in there ?
I built the first unloader and it works, kinda. When testing the first shulker empties completely but the second one that comes out gets broken immediately before emptying. What could be the reason?

Any way to make the 1 wide loader tile-able? Looks like the redstone dust links up and they all fire when one is full.
four months late, but pretty sure it is tileable - yes the dust connects, but the observer is only reacting to the change from 14 to 15, so there's no actual interference as a result.

Hey my dude the loader can lose boxes and is really not recommended. I'm happy you are posting a good unloader. but since 1.12 hoppers have had their hit boxes changed

I'm building a sugarcane farm with a semi large scale. How do I send a signal to stop multiple observer blocks from sending signals (they are watching sugarcane grow) when there are no more shulkers to fill (or currently being filled)? I want to be able to afk overnight and fill shulkers without having items just despawn or not worry about the farm if I don't need the items. I'm on an smp so I'm trying to be mindful of needless lag.
Hey, thanks for the vid, tried it in 1.18 and doesn't work. for some reason the dispencer is not locked and loads up one extra shulker box, making the system stop and not breaking the shulker when it's empty. any idea? I tried multiple unloader designs so far, and they all have the same issue for me.
I built the 1 wide unloader in my 1.18.1 server and it works perfectly. Even more impressive is that its next to other multiple systems. Chest where you dump shulkers -> item elevator -> unloader -> both shulkers & items go to another item elevator -> storage system
Did I do something wrong with the 3rd design (1-wide tileable)? The slices are correctly working for themselves, but if a shulkerbox is full and is replaced by its slice the adjacent slices get activated too and adjacent partially filled boxes are replaced. Java 1.17

I assume the honey is used because it's not a full block, can you use other blocks like soul sand or mud?

Ignore me, I was putting the box on top of the top hopper not inside a chest on top of the top hopper to be fully unloaded, make sure you also do that

I built the second unloaded design and it did not work. The shulkers did not come out of the dispenser.
i tried building the 1 wide unloader but the back piston keeps becoming headless

Which of these designs will accept everyhing? Full shulkers, not full shulkers, empty shulkers, just items.
Both unloader designs should work with any Shulker box whether it’s full, not full, or empty. And if an item goes through it should simply reach the dispenser and get dispensed onto the hopper for items anyway! :) hope that helps!

Is there a way to make the shulker loader not endlessly go on forever? To have it stop when the hopper below is full?
I believe you could take a comparator output for the hopper below and run a signal up to the top hopper to lock it

I just built the unloader from 2:00-3:41 in Creative and I was too lazy to watch the full tutorial so I built it like I thought it would be. I checked it and built it differently than you, but it still works.
Mine isn’t working I’m not sure what to do bedrock 1.20 might not work on PlayStation 4
Would it still work if I placed the redstone block one block above?
Which design? There are 4 in this video. Although, I do believe most if not all are so compact that moving a redstone block would make it not work

Only if there isn't a full/solid block above the chest. Otherwise you can't open the chest

Hey man i found a little problem with your last shown 1-wide unloader. It sometimes doesn't drop empty shulkerbox into the second hopper, but makes it fall into the hopper with items being unloaded. Can i fix it somehow? Any ideas? I copied ur build 1:1, and the idea doesn't use repeaters so it can't be reason... like the piston is little late to push the item and wrong hopper catches that
it happened with me too , may i ask you did you find a solution for this problem ????
the problem is , ive connected it to my storage system , so its makes it harder to find
i found the problem .. make sure before starting that the block under the sticky piston @ 05:38 still on the ground ... you might activated it while building by mistake
can it be saved if it runs out of shulkers?
If you run out of shulkers you’ll need to refill as needed but it’ll still work after it’s refilled. You may need to push the button again however

first loader does not work for me on bedrock 1.19 did exactly the same and the shulker does not place but pistons move
