Lyrics
With a smile that can win a war
when she sings there are bluebirds
gazing eyes, making any heart sore
gentle touch sincerely yours
The girl next door the all the boys adore
A taste of home a familiar tone
held our hand through the darkest days
she’d say, keep calm carry on
You are a sweetheart
everyone’s sweetheart
to just show you care going anyway and give hope to everyone
you are a sweetheart
everyone’s sweetheart
and that’s the way you’ll always stay
forever you’ll remain our sweetheart
Heart of the county
soul of the land
your spirit strong and devoted
We heard you say some sunny day
so loved ones won’t fade away
You are a sweetheart
everyone’s sweetheart
to just show you care going anyway and give hope to everyone
you are a sweetheart
everyone’s sweetheart
and that’s the way you’ll always stay
forever you’ll remain our sweetheart
Always a sweetheart
the nation’s sweetheart
And that’s the way you’ll always stay forever you’ll remain our sweetheart.
With a smile that can win a war
when she sings there are bluebirds - Hudba

My Grandma liked to sing Pack up your troubles/ Tipperary among a lot of other war songs but always said something else instead of Tipperary lol. I'll leave it up to you to decide what she said
Love and Peace Ladies. From Houston Texas USA.
I dedicated this song to my two lovely sisters ....whom are such awesome treasures ....thank you for the privilege of allowing me to hear the sound of ANGEL'S
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I've never been more proud

The most sentimental song I've ever had the privilege to listen too...the sound of ANGEL'S...heaven sent....AMEN
Thank you ladies. I am sure Dame Vera Lynn will be proud of the honour as you have given her.
Thank you so much for watching! We hope you enjoyed it! Lots of Love Darling Alex.xx
This song reminds me of Carpenters.. Can't believe this is the original song, I thought this was oldie from 60's! The song captured the good ol' days so uncannily it feels like a song from 60's from other world we never heard of. So uncannily good it's like a little time machine. Thank you for this great song.
Thank you for your continued beautiful singing, meaningful lyrics, and classy demeanor.
I personally dedicate this to sir captain Tom R.I.P
Priceless songs from a priceless group of sweet ladies ! I love you all.
Beautiful
Thanks,It's quite special, especially now, listening to you during this terrible time.
I'm not from England nor was I around during the war, I am just a huge fan of your singing! Are you still a big group, or is it just the three of you now? I also want to say that I enjoy the D-Day Juniors too.

Lovely song ❤️
So beautiful guys, love you 🥰
BEAUTIFUL ❤️
Lovely
Beautiful ❤️
I never heard this song before. Was this something that was performed in Great Britain, or rarely sung in the US/Canada. It was beautifully performed and the three of you did a wonderful job of harmonizing the song. I would love to come over to England just to spend time singing the old songs with you because we don't very many chorale groups that sing the old patriotic war songs such as you ladies do. Darling, are you or the beautiful redhead to the left of you married? What is her name? Please keep singing and reflecting on the men and women who fought in both World Wars, and to honor those who sacrifices their all for their countries. Love, Paul Basso
You wouldn't have heard it before! This song is a modern composition. The lyrics are about Vera Lynn, a famous English singer from WWII. =)
ทุกวัยนะครับคนมีอายุก็ได้แก้โรคเหงาโรคหัวใจ เขาอาจจะเสียคู่ไปอยากจะหาดวงใจไว้ครอบครอง
Fantastic nod to dame Vera Lynn. Music from before my time, but the music I grew up with. Dad would have a slightly damp eye when he played her tunes. I must admit to being a little bit the same.
First!!!!!!!! ❤
Will this be on your upcoming album
How about a cover of 1967 by Don McLean?
Beautiful.Thank you ladies.Keep up the good work.xxxxxxx
