The only thing more amazing than *both* offenses were in this game, was how absolutely dreadful both defensive efforts were. It took that amazing performance from the WV offense to compensate for one of the worst defensive showings you'll ever see from a Top 10 team. They racked ten TDs, and still only managed to win because they "held" Baylor to merely *nine* TDs. Yeah. How do you think that bus ride went? Put 63 on the board and *lose* . Baylor's Nick Florence threw for 581 yards (85 fewer than Smith), 5 TD's, and one INT enroute to a 196.4 QB rating. Under normal circumstances that would be considered near-inhuman. But, no interceptions and those extra 85 yards and three TDs on Smith's part gave him an astounding 248 rating for the game. And WV needed every ounce of it or they would have lost.
