Hi Helen, I wouldn’t be without my Dyson had mine for about six years,I’m a retired hairdresser. Out of interest what didn’t you like about the Dyson as they both retail at the same price. Lovely to have you back in the UK. 😘😘😘

I’m so envious of your beautiful thick hair. I’ve really fine hair and whereas I used to have a lot of soft fine hair, after some serious illnesses and treatments, (or maybe it’s just age and I’m in denial lol) it’s thinned out a lot especially at the sides. I have it highlighted but only about 4 times a year as I still have darkish re growth which I don’t mind as it makes my hair look thicker. I’m about 40% grey only and how I wish my colour was like yours. That hairdryer looks the business as it wouldn’t damage my hair any further than it is already. I also use olaplex but just the treatments as the whole shabang of products is quite expensive and my hairdresser also uses it when colouring my hair and when I have blowdrys. I never feel you’re pushing products and enjoy seeing you try out new ideas. Thanks ❤

Hi Helen, this hairdryer reminds me of a well known brand with his magnetic attachments and it easy shape. I guess it comes down to price!!! As I have that particular item which I purchased on QVC and easy monthly instalments led me to purchase it. Because of its lightness, like the Zuvi it has saved pain in my wrists and arms as I age. It’s a considered purchase but certainly gets you thinking how technology has changed especially in the hair dryer range. Great video as normal. Thank you. Holiday vids look amazing.

Hi Helen, I use the John Frieda products and love them. I would also recommend using the Wella thermal Image heat protection spray on damp hair - it makes a great difference to smooth hair. I also use the John Frieda ‘secret agent’ smoothing cream to style it and tame any fly away hairs - it’s a great product. Have to say I think the GH blow dryer works brilliantly, comes complete with nozzle and diffuser, and was just over £100. Great that you get the opportunities to trial products and share your thoughts with your Hel’s Belles xx

Thank you Helen, I have fine hair and it really suffered during Covid, I didn’t realise it was either because I got Covid quite badly or the Covid Jabs, it was so thin and falling out, I put it down to my age until I had a conversation with someone about it, I actually stopped blow drying my hair for a couple of years and only recently started again as it seems to have a new lease of life, I am definitely interested in this hairdryer, thank you

I have very thick coarse hair too and have dyed it for many many years I have been thinking of growing the colour out lately as my roots are sooo white! If it grew out the colour of your hair I would be very happy but haven’t got the patience to let it grow out lol! Xx
I guess I was lucky as I used to have highlights and it grew out during Covid so it was easy for me. xx
I had this dilemma and I started the transition about 6 years ago. I started by just having my dyed brown hair stripped of colour and bleached with a grey toner on top. I did this for quite a number of years and have now grown all the coloured hair out and have my natural colour which is white/grey and it looks lovely, the condition is so much better too. I use Kerastase purple shampoo and Philip Kingsley purple conditioner and top up the shade by using Shrine drops in White every two weeks at home, two drops in 40mls of any cheap conditioner, leave on for 8 minutes and rinse.

Like yourself I am also 65. When I turned 60 I noticed baby hair like yours and I thought I had, had the hairdryer on too hot and I had singed it off. Anyway it is still like that now.
I had recently heard that older ladies hair starts to recede just like men's does in the same place. So long has I don't go bald I am not bothered. Although there are some terrific wigs out there 🤣🤣
I have been thinking of giving that Regain for women. Apparently my pharmacist told me it does work. However you have to use it all the time applying it everyday. If you know of any hair products for this, perhaps you could review some. Good to have you back!

I think in the early days of this kind of technology you're paying for the research...... as they get more popular the price will probably come down.... it's a considered purchase for sure.

Hi Helen, “hair like fuse wire” Hilarious 😂😂😂. Why is it that my new grey hair is frizzy, wirey and wavy when wet? My hair has always been poker straight. Although saying that, a day after washing my hair smooths out and it looks normal again. Weird… the quirks of getting old I suppose 😊. Mind, I swear by my silk pillowcases, they work wonders in keeping it smooth and prevent breakage. Thank you 😊

You need to hold the hairdryer above your head so that you're drying down the cuticle perhaps rough drying with your head upside down,.
Have you tried Revamp perfect blow dry brush? Or babyliss do one too... They leave your hair shiny and manageable without damage and much cheaper too.
Yes, I have a Babyliss and often use it in conjuction with a hairdryer as well. I showed it in a previous vid.

I have a dyson supersonic which I love and use to rough dry first. I also foolishly bought the dyson airwrap, which I don't use due to the fabulous Revamp tool, can't recommend it highly enough.

I saw you using the rotating brush and it inspired me to get one! I find it great as I have arthritis in my arms and shoulders and found it difficult to use both arms at once. It is a considered purchase for sure. That's a difficult question.... I guess it would depend how my finances looked. It does seem to leave my hair soft and shiny.... I do like this dryer as it is very kind to your hair... I am sure it would style your hair just fine.... Have a look at some of the other reviews and see what kind of hair they have, mine is so coarse it can withstand anything. xx

Your hair is gorgeous Helen. Please don't think that I am being rude, but, your hairdresser does not cut your hair properly on your right hand side, as it encourages it to bend the wrong way. I've noticed this before and she keeps cutting a step into your hair and is spoiling your style ❤😊xx
