    I don't understand why they stopped making some of the old guns. They were really cool.

    Beautiful as always- mine is near identical with a slight chip on the grip, still wonderful piece. I should consider getting a holster to match with its Luftwaffe origins.

    Beautiful, simple handgun designed by the man himself, John Browning

    This is a very nice little pistol. I have a nazi one, it was made by the Germans in occupied Belgium. There is nazi eagles and Waffenamts 140 on it.
    Is yours also German made? Hard to see the markings in this video.

      Very nice! This one is as well 👍🏻 generally the wood grips are a giveaway that it was made under German occupation (not always as the grips can be swapped)

      @@GreatNorthwestWeaponry Cool ! Didn't know the wood grips was a German feature, thanks for the info. My pistol has the standard black bakelite grips.

    G’day Thomas .
    Once again - thanks fir the variety of firearms.✊
    The trigger looks light ?
    How is it ?

    • @GreatNorthwestWeaponry
      @GreatNorthwestWeaponry  Před 6 měsíci +3

      It has definitely got a light trigger, not exactly a hair trigger like the Nambu but definitely light

    • @lunarpking
      @lunarpking Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@GreatNorthwestWeaponry Speaking of the Nambu, you ever have yours burst fire? Either as sear surface with mine is worn or the very slightly higher load I shot after my initial load was just too much for it. The thing would do 2-3 round bursts every few shots. Mildly fun, also frightening.
      I had replaced every spring I could, though I don't think the Wolff spring kit comes with a sear bar spring. Good news is that with my lightest loads it still ran perfectly and I can't remember them firing more than one at a time.

    • @GreatNorthwestWeaponry
      @GreatNorthwestWeaponry  Před 6 měsíci

      @lunarpking I haven’t had it happen with mine but a friend of mine had it happen consistently, all eight rounds fired the moment he touched the trigger. His was a last-ditch example and it had some issues

    • @lunarpking
      @lunarpking Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@GreatNorthwestWeaponry Mine is a very early pre war matching numbers gun, I don't intend on loading anything hotter than my lightest load and might even go lighter, but I'm halfway convinced it's the sear surface itself. Doesn't look too worn, but I can't think of anything else that would cause it. It's either that or the firing pin itself, which I probably should have another. It's the only unmarked part and I think it's a repro.
