Immediately makes me think of some of the most awesome battles I had in the campaign. From Tyrion charging a Skaven ambush head on and turning their ambush into a defensive position against two more armies, to wiping the floor with the Lizardmen, Skaven, and Druchii alike on the slopes of the Isle of the Dead as the Asur fought for and alongside Caledor Dragontamer, to the humble beginning of that campaign as one Princess, with the Unfortunate trait recruited as a sacrifice to delay the Cult of Excess if they outflanked Tyrion, won an unwinnable battle and survived.
Total War: Warhammer's soundtrack was top notch, easily an equal to the stuff in the original games. Different, but standing in its own right. And the dynamic versions stand even better. :)
Tyrion is overpowered, lol best duelist in the game + super speed with his horse. Give me him over malekith any day.. And I am a huge dark elf fan
Makes me thing of the exact moment Teclis’s vortex spell activates and picks up hundreds of Skaven, completely changing the course of the battle. Especially that bit around 3:30. Can almost hear him shouting “Lileath, hear me!”

@@m33tballa Bit of artistic license regarding a certain aspect of the final battle of the Vortex Campaign when you finish the last ritual as the Asur.
In spoilers, basically imagining the army spells the Vortex allows the Asur to use as Caledor Dragontamer aiming some of it at the lizards, edgelords, and rats swarming your army, helping the Asur who are fighting to protect him and his mages. Thus, "fighting for and alongside Caledor Dragontamer"

I've been losing pretty hard against dark elves army, i've been outnumbered, injured, tired and with no option to retreat. Darkshards were firing on my army like theres no tomorrow, my spearmen were getting rekt by executioners, i've had no hope at all.. Until that theme kicked in. It gave me such a booster, that i decided "no, i will win this battle, you bloody betrayals". Ive quickly regrouped my units, send my bird for their archers, ordered melee fighters to hold enemy infantry while Tyrion with sliver of health went for enemy sorceress lord. That was so epic, watching that 1v1. Then, when Tyrion somehow defeated her, most of enemy units decided to run. There was one more thing to do, finish the job. From big battle, there were just a few warriors left on battlefield. Last chance, last try, last fight, fight for everything. It seemed like this ost has given my exhauted units this little motivation, that then needed to make it thru. That was so damn awesome. (sorry for all mistakes that ive made, workin on it ;) )

The total war studio really did a great job with Warhammer universe. The lore is perfectly respected, and the musics suits with the factions so well

Saurus getting terror routed.
Empire Greatswords get dunked on by ANYTHING.
Dragons cannot take out a single unit without breaking a leg or two.
Chaos warriors are treated as basic infantry.
Grail knights can be felled by skavenslaves with spears.
A heal limit exists.
Dwarfs actively conquer settlements and retake holds.
Getting a ball of pure warp stone shot right in your chest doesn’t kill you, only stumbles you for a moment.
Some random battle wizard is as powerful as a Slann.
Norsca (and chaos in general) being pushovers.
Taking Altdorf as Vlad von Carstein means nothing; it’s just a settlement in this game.
Reuniting all the lost holds mean nothing, just extra settlements.
The skaven race can be exterminated.
Spells cannot be cast on walls.
Burning the Oak of Ages means nothing. No consequences.
Burning Ulthuan to the ground means nothing. Just generic destruction.
A major faction being wiped means nothing. They’re just gone with a small notif that acknowledges this. “The Empire has fallen? Who cares?”
A bunch of underfed and scrawny peasants can stop a charging Dread Saurian dead in its tracks.
Aye, the music is neat. Except for the vampires. What madman thinks flutes fit with them? Where are the mighty organs and the creepy violins?
@@agoodboy2489 All that and regarding the music, no sign of unique music for the Dwarfs (which is a sin, they are one of the main factions of the game), same goes for the wood elves, beastman and Norsca. And as a final insult, they showcased Khorne, lots of cheesy heavy metal and etc... and in the actual game, no sign of heavy metal at all. The soundtrack is decent for most part, but it still lacks a lot of work, imagine the dude who composed the dwarf music from those old Lord of the Rings strategy games (for people curious about it, search for "Pride of the Dwarves"), imagine what he can do with the Warhammer dwarfs?

@@RRRRRRRRR33Yeah sadly TW:WH really sucks all the personality out of most factions. The only ones that keep their proper feeling are Skaven.
@@LordVader1094 Mods helps a lot with that, but even so, some factions still have their basic personality represented. Dark Elves are super aggressive + edgy music, Wood Elves are all about range, playing as Ogres you just have to form up a "blob" of units and order them to advance, etc.. I don't think Skaven are actually well represented because they can be eradicated, that is just completely out of character.. and they are not fighting against each other, which is bizarre, if the Skaven stops their civil war, they will take over the world in a instant. However, if two major Skaven factions achieved some form of alliance in Warhammer "3", that will represent no threat at all, the Skaven used to be overpowered in Warhammer "2", but currently they are average at best

For real, they’re arrogant but they have good reason to be. They ain’t perfect but they legitimately are superior and did the most impressive stuff in the setting (alongside the Lizardmen)
