    One of my favorite upgrades. When doing audio, I like to remove some of the extra wire that is not needed in the harness. It makes for a cleaner install. Great job on the video. The beast rocks.

    Awesome kit, fixes my main issues with the Taco, the lacking infotainment. I thought $1,500 was steep, but apparently they're now $1,728 and sold out. Damn.

    @bjorndecker3233 Před 2 lety +127

    Looks awesome, for $1,500 it’s lacking apple car play wireless, and I would have liked to see a PIP mode for the backup camera, I love what GM does with their rear view mirror live camera, and I would have liked to use apple car play for example, while seeing what’s behind me while driving. Finally the screen refresh rate looked low, like I said for $1,500 would have been nice to see a higher refresh rate, looks like it’s around 30fps… a bump to a static 60 fps would have been much better. 120fps if you wanted to go above beyond.. also it’s only a 1080p equivalent display ..? Cmon. it still has some value being an OEM fit but being picky like I am, paying almost 2k for a radio should have the latest tech, not tech that’s over 3 years old IMO.

      @@dirkdiggler2379 It's over $1700 now. I just purchased it. Haven't installed it in my 2016 yet though. Also my local Stereo Shop said they have installed 4 of these Stinger 10 radios in different vehicles and each time it took them at least a hour and a half. Of installation. So don't believe that 45 minutes of installation BS if you have never installed a radio system in a vehicle.

      All radios are expensive at this level, if you get the Toyota high end display and radio it's 1500 dollar upgrade to your Takoma. I cant use this radio due to having terrain monitoring, i believe that is 6 cameras and this unit only supports 4, too bad I'd buy one if it did have 6.

    • @John-100
      @John-100 Před rokem

      You could also look up Speedir or the PathFindir II FLAIR thermal camera for night time diving and avoid that deer that wants so desperately to sacrifice itself on your new Toyota Tacoma. FLAIR products are the best, but the best is expensive, Speedir is cheaper but is of unknown quality so buyers beware, it is a Chinese ripoff of FLAIR Pathfinder II but it could be almost as good, but we all take risks sometimes and it's a cost saving decision that rarely works out, but when it does you strike gold.

    that 10inch screen is awesome! What type of modifications will be need to make the anytime back up camera system work with this unit? Does the wireless charging pad integrate with the his new system for wireless apple car play or will you still need to plug in with a cable? Over all great video and great looking product!

    As i just ordered and bought my 22 trd off road with toyotas multi terrain monitor. I asked the company who makes the stinger heigh10 if it would incorporate the toyota multi terrain monitor. They informed me it dosent so if i upgraded to this it would loose out on a huge $1000 factory upgrade. Which makes me unhappy do to it working with jeeps off road features.
    You guys should mention this in your video for those who have the off roads or pros whith that feature!.

    Wish it was a little more lower profile but bigger screen is definitely nice. Seems to be responsive when using the touch or the controls. Not laggy as if the computer is low quality. Curious how this would sound with the OEMAudio+ that you installed in your truck vs maybe just going aftermarket speakers.

      That's the million dollar question. I checked closely when the tweeter cover popped off, those definitely weren't the OEMAudio+ Tweeters. Seems like he swapped them out back to stock from their appearance.
