clear spacebar is very interesting for that led position.
Yeah and I'm glad someone noticed 🤣 it's because you can use a split Spacebar as well.
as I known the layer of anode in this keyboard is too thin, it's really eazy to be scratched
The preproduction model had this issue tbh, but the newer ones seems to have fixed that
@@itssamueltan yeah and the black version you have really fits the matte milky keycap :)))
How's the quality of the aluminium case, is it rough or more refined and smooth ?
It's refined and smooth with the Anodized coating. Only the weight is slightly rougher/not as smooth of a finish. But I think that is because mine is a pre production sample
Hi, I currently have a tester68 keyboard. I was thinking about swapping my switches and keys over to another board. I have gateron milky yellow switches. Would you recommend I swap it over to the GMK67 or Lucky65, or that I just stick with the Tester68? Or, if you have any other 60/65 keyboard recommendations, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Well the GMK67 is a great budget option. But if you have more budget to spend the Lucky65 is great too. Just depends on your budget
@@itssamueltan Ok thank you. If I am going for thock, does the Lucky65 have a better sound than the GMK67?
@@schmeglyomigy6174 yes the Lucky65 sounds better imo
@@itssamueltan Ok appreciate it. Do you think the GMK67 sounds better than the Tester68?
@@schmeglyomigy6174 definitely
My spacebar is hanging up and does not return to the resting position. Open to suggestions. I've already attempted to reverse the spacebar and I've installed different switches. Should I be look to trim the stabilizer mounts, or inspect and re-lube? What's strange is the spacebar works perfectly fine when I flip the keyboard upside down and the typing surface faces the desktop surface.
Hey I think the lube on the Spacebar stabilisers is too much, you can try cleaning the lube from the stabs and try again
its getting stuck on something. might be the poron foam under the plate is dislodged and hitting the stab wire? or did you mod your stabs with holee and the bandaid piece got dislodged? or maybe the stab wire is bent in a weird angle and caused it to get stuck?
Hello! Is it possible to put a white backlight on the keyboard? And the backlight is set through the software?
Hi, yes you should be able to just get it to white. You do it by adjusting the Lightning with the Fn key or with the software
I'm thinking to get either this board or the LEOBOG Hi8. Which one do you think sounds better?
Hmm I they both sound great tbh. But the Lucky65 has better build quality.
just got my lucky65, but i cant help but feel the sk71 is still better. The only board that goes blow for blow with it has got to be the rainy 75
Hmm maybe the SK71 feels more refined? But I think the Rainy75 is above the SK71 tho
@@itssamueltan yea for sure, i guess what i was trying to say is if anyone is looking for a budget board the sk71 is the way to go. The rainy 75 isnt $90 anymore either. Once they realized what they had they raised the price. The standard version i think is like $125 before shipping and tax.
Nice vid as always. I want to ask if i go to KL, where is the best place to look around mechanical keyboard? Also hoping you will review GMK61 because it's the one i'm interested to buy now. got bored with 65% lol.
Hey, on KL there's a few. You have Mecha MY and MKB.MY and even KeebsProject
@@itssamueltan Thank you so much for answering!
nice video i might get this keyboard
Thanks!
Great video, I just wanted to ask if the keyboard supports screw-in stabilizers, or do you think they're not necessary? Thanks!
Hey thanks! The PCB doesn't support screw in stabs. But I think the included plate mounted ones get the job done
Nice for Rog Keris
Wdym tho
Im contemplating between getting this board and the monsgeek m7w. Which do you reccomend?
For me, I think the M7W feels more solid. But the Lucky 65 sounds way better.
hi. i owned a M7W purple. And surprisingly, it is good. But, the stock stabs for the M7W is really scratchy so you need retuned and relubed. Maybe do some holee mode also. I havent tried the lucky65 i wouldnt know in term of sound signature compared with this board. maybe as sam suggest, if you looking for sound preference, maybe this one is to go.
Nice review, did you encounter any problem with the keyboard? Especially with the 2.4ghz and bluetooth functionality? Some people on reddit report that the wireless is pretty bad in this keyboard.
Also, how is the keyboard compared to GMK67? (if you ever use GMK67)
The wireless functionality is okay, it just has to be closer to the dongle from my experience. As for the GMK67, I've done a video on it too, it's a great budget keyboard, but if you compare the two, I would prefer the Lucky65 because of the metal case.
great review! i have the sugar65, do you think i should get this as well? i am thinking of getting it but if it sounds and feels 90% similar to the sugar65 then maybe i'll consider other options
Hmm I think they sound similar? But not the same
Hiya what screwhead did you use to take the keyboard apart thanks .
It was an Allen key, i don't remember the size tho 🥲
HI Tan! I just connect this kit to PC, open software but no devices. Can you please give any advices ? thanks
Is it connected through the wire?
@@itssamueltan yes I did. The keyboard connected and use normally,. But when open software, no device :(
Finally fixed by pressing Fn + Tab to switch to wire mode 😁
Have you tested the 2.4ghz mode on lucky65 it doesn’t seem to work for me
Have u paired it with the dongle?
@@itssamueltan Yeah I did, I also followed the manual by pressing fn + r to pair it but it only blinks in white.
@@EChere try holding it for a few seconds
@@itssamueltan still doesn’t work, it recognized as a lucky65 dongle but it doesn’t pair to it I do see some post with the same problems so I came to ask you about it
@@EChere u might need to download the software, and try formatting the keyboard
How is this compared to the womier sk 71?
This feels better quality and sounds poppier to me
is it better than the hi75?
Materials and quality wise, yeah
@@itssamueltan my hi75 sounds very bad I don’t know why but I also have a qk65 v2
Dude I've got a problem. It came today and I installed their software but I can't can't change the mapping of certain keys. Most of the keys don't want to be changed in their app while others do. I can't change FN to be alt or alt to be FN but also I can't change most of normal keys. Any suggestions?
Hmm I'm not sure on this tbh, mine works fine by just remapping it in the software. Maybe you can try emailing/contacting their customer support?
@@itssamueltan yeah just did. So you remapped every key easily however you wanted?
@@maxchopin409 I haven't tried every key, just the keys on right like the Delete and Pgup
@@itssamueltan nah I got fucked up unit. It doesn't even want to pair with 2.4gHz dongle. Shits blinking R all the time but doesn't pair
@@maxchopin409 dang, I think you might really have a defective unit
I have a problem where the spacebar scratches on the case itself. :v
Maybe the alignment of the PCB and Plate is off? You can try opening the keyboard and repositioning it
@@itssamueltan I already did. Idk how to fix this one.
@@itssamueltan if the alignment of pcb is off, how did the switch is properly inserted?
@@_seoldam maybe the gaskets are not in the proper mounts? Or you can try contacting them to get a new unit if the issue can't be fixed
@@itssamueltan Hi, what do u mean by not in the proper mounts?
Do you think this or the sugar65 is better?
Well honestly, they are both from Weikav and are very similar. I would say just go with what you like in your budget.
@@itssamueltan k thanks
@@SwiftyProdz1 welcome!
Does it support knob?
Yes, but you will need to solder it on the PCB
anybody else have problem with the software?

Make sure it's connected with the wire
How can i using this ~ key ? Please help me

Is this good for gaming ?
Well yea
aula f75 is a plastic board that is good for gaming considering its latency
the leobog hi75 also has good latency too, but the aluminum finish wont be as good as this
Nice vid and keeb. ill send you a like, but i cant sub because you put your spacebar upside down 😭. sorry
Hey it's a preference 👀 it's better for gaminggg
Name of keycaps, please?
It's in the description and the video, Domikey WOB Obsidian
@@itssamueltan tks u very much!
that space bar triggers me
It works tho I like it
@@itssamueltan lol do u what you want but does the position of that space bar affect how hard you need to press?
@@Woahh-4k it's just more ergonomic when gaming, the angle is better on the thumb
Making such iconic mark and not giving the green color is a scam
Ikr! I initially wanted to ask for a green version but there isn't any available 🥲
And the box is GREEN too 😭
@@silentKeys20 just teasing us 🥲
This board came out at about $30 6 months ago and now we're up to $80. Soon we will pass $100!
The Sugar65 you can get for 30
Well tbh, you can still get it around $30 from the OEM. Just like the Sugar65, you can find the OEM on Taobao
@@user-db1vn4ov4l yea same by Weikav too
@@itssamueltan I just registered with Taobao and no..... this is what it says "WEIKRV SUGAR65 Mechanical Keyboard Kit Wired Gasket CNC FR4
¥684.1rise
Starting from about USD 95.16"
They didn't even spell the name Weikav correctly. There are no boards in that price range or even close for the USA. There pricing is actually higher then Aliexpress direct.
@@itssamueltan do you know where i can buy it for $30 on taobao? cant seem to find it
