Lovely Jubbly on the video, friend will be needed to get this wee 106 back on the road, but it's a long term project to be taken seriously.

I’ve owned an S2 Rallye for 24 years (since new). Pulled them apart and put together loads of times. They are east to work on. Spend a grand on sorting the rust out , and grand on respraying the sides then do all the mechanical work your self and you’ll have a 8-10k car and will have sunk about 7 into it. If you sell it however you need to give up on this CZcams malarkey, it’s all about the struggle.

Sam for the seats 25% white vinegar 25% lemon juice and 50% water the vinegar stops the mould the lemon juice for to kill the smell of the vinegar and the water just to dilute the concentration 👍🏼 no need for expensive and useless cleaners. and if you have a steamer spray on the solution leave to dwell then a quick steam is even better

Thank you Paul. I had heard the vinegar trick before but sounds like this concoction gets rid of the unpleasant smell of the vinegar. Will give it a go. 👍

brings back some memories. they are so easy and used to be cheap to work on. i think if you have the repair pannels then you will be fine. just a labour of love. lots of man hours but not too much crazy £££ with any luck.

I did the interior of a Peugeot 206...as there's no electronics in the seats just whip the whole lot out at jet wash the lot...good scrub with detergent..and jet wash...takes a few days to dry fully but worth it...

100% repairable, repairable and then profitable probably not unfortunately. Iv had plenty of these over the years with 6 just now (3 Rallyes) original engine, interior is good start. Dash badge missing is annoying as they are expensive now with people hoarding them to sell.
Boot chassis legs are another really common rust area to check. I’m currently restoring one of mine and Iv gotten lucky I’m only needing to weld a small patch in boot.

The Pug looks like it needs a fair bit of work but would be great to see it back in tip top condition. How long before you rip up your driveway for bock paving, so you can move these non runners a bit easier?😀💪

Can’t afford it at the moment mate. If I sell the S3 and Corsa VXR then il have a look into my next Audi/VW build. Plus these cars remind me of my childhood and never had the opportunity to own a rallye then- so doing it now 😂
