I bought a Clio RS 200 & immediately swapped it for a Peugeot 106 GTI

I went to buy a replacment track day / every day use Clio RS 200 and immediatley swapped it for a Peugeot 106 GTI within 30 minutes. Never have I swapped a car before - very strange circumstances.
My decision making behind this swap was with my heart (15 years ago reminicing) and potetially obtaining a future classic that are becoming hard to come bye.
Let me know - did i make the right decision with this?
