These c63's with the 6.3L V8 will become extremely valuable in the near future, beautiful car
fully agreed! (even though it's "only" 6.2 liters since even this was a misnomer for historic reasons.) but yes, any meaningfully powerful naturally aspirated engine will be in high demand rather soon since they already died out due to stupid regulations. only through* diversification of technology, you have a real chance to identify the actually best one-not by politicians more or less arbitrarily selecting one.
Pleased and proud to say I own a cl 63
Basically a 2 door a class from 2008
@@HxTurtle It's a German technicality, because anything over 6.2 (6208 cc) is rounded up the next dl.
@@k0zzu21 not true; you made that up (or, "unwahr, das ist frei erfunden." as 'we' call it. 😉)
@@HxTurtle Well, at least several other German manufacturers use the same logic, like the BMW e39 M5, which states a 5 litre engine when it's actually a 4,9 litre displacement and the road tax used to be based on every starting 100cc of displacement in several european counties, including Germany.
I didn't make this up, I read it from somewhere years ago but I guess we would need to ask the engineers at AMG why the engine they created was a 6.2 rather than 6.3
It might be difficult to understand why a clean car needs detailing, because most of us could never afford a 200 000 dollars car. But if I had a car like this one, of course I would want it to look absolutely perfect. Or as you say, Larry, 98 percent perfect. Amazing job on this one, especially noticing all the parts, like rubber glue, swirls etc. that needed to be removed.
the thing my father taught me that i live by today is you can either spend your time cleaning it, or spend your time using it, which is what i do with my cars today
@@nickfila2208 Yeah it's an ongoing battle for me, if I focus too hard on the details then I feel bad using it as intended.
@@nickfila2208 for some people cleaning it is using it. Different people get enjoyment from cars in different ways. I have a Black Series and don't drive it very often, but enjoy it every day. Sort of like owning an artwork.
@@brucerobertson5919 exactly! that you said how it really is. it's a very similar situation for me as well. I'm more happy not to take unnecessary risks. my two classics are just irreplaceable to me. I've no issue having them on jack stands for half a year even. they both around 80,000 miles and I'm very proud to look after them in a proper way and conserving their value. not everyone gets pleasure outta abusing things. and I'll certainly never understand why some peeps believe that I should treat my own possession the way they'd like it. that's totally flawed thinking!
@@brucerobertson5919 not only that but when detail your car and use anti rust chemicals and clean out the undercarriage of the car, including exhaust, it just helps keep your car mechanically maintained
Totally off topic, but ammo, one time you called into Verizon customer service and I spoke to you personally. I remember how me and you got to talking about car detailing and you were super cool. Down to earth kinda guy…this was several years ago. Stay well and thanks for all your priceless info! 🙏🏼❤️
The swirls on the calipers, i would've not caught those in a thousand years. Incredible work, Larry.
This is the content that I hope you show more. Every detailer on CZcams shows the dirty transformations but very few have your skill to do this kind of work. Amazing as always!
How you do 'a' thing is how you do all things. Larry is an absolute PRO which, I'm confident, carries over to all aspects of his life. Great job, man!
Thanks for watching!
@@AMMO-NYC If you ever detail a Lamborghini in Arancio Borealis would you please make a video? It’s my daughters’ favorite color for a car and we watch your videos before bedtime every night. It’s become a tradition. They absolutely love them. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see the detailing of the Syclone!!! So lucky to see one in person Larry!!! It was the world’s quickest pickup truck. Its 0-60 mph time sat between 4.3 seconds on a good day, to 4.6 seconds on a bad one. In the early 90s, if you were behind the wheel of a Syclone, that meant you were quicker than a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. And if you came across a Ferrari 348, you’d smoke it too. And they just announced the return of the GMC Syclone for 2023. Hopefully you also get to detail its brother someday. The GMC Typhoon.
This episode was great, and I love a Mercedes, but a Syclone was my childhood “poster car”
Can’t wait to see what you do with that mini truck.
Going to be a good one! Thx for watching!
Even the seatbelts are pretty!
Thank you for sharing all of this information! I can't believe how much time you and your team spend to bring this to us! Also I like every video that I watch and everyone else should too!
Thanks David!
I love this content.
I started detailing as a form of therapy from my career as a paramedic. I learned the basics from this channel and a lot of trial and error; I have now managed to create my own business.
It has been a slaug, but detailing cars brought back a sense of accomplishment I have been missing from my other career. This has been one of the biggest saving graces of my life.
I would love the opportunity to come down to NYC, see your shop and maybe absorb some of the knowledge you have to make my business more successful.
There are lots of car washers on CZcams, yet very few actual detailers. This video shows what detailing is all about, Larry is among the best out there.
Thank you for showing the "turn all the lights off" trick. About a month ago I polished my first "entire car" it was my dad's newly bought 2010 light blue Honda Odyssey. I went crazy trying to see the scratches in the paint, I had to position my light close to the panels and then move back and get my head as close as I could to try and catch the reflection
That car looks even better in person! You're the best, Larry!
Such an amazing car! I absolutely think this is my favorite video!
Keep up the awesome videos Larry!
Awesome work! Not many people know about the GMC Syclone. Looking forward to seeing you clean that one up.
Amazing level of detail and craftsmanship on an amazing car. Keep up the good work!
Man I love these vids. Keep ‘em coming!
Always love the WOW moments in these vids, along with the satisying cleaning. The literal WOW moment for me in this one was the side by side of the back tail light.
HO LEE SHEET, that was incredible, Larry...
Just awesome, i love your channel!
Larry is so Fastidious about his craft, amazing to watch.
I learn something new with every show. Love it!
I have garnered a whole lot of respect for what you do sir. Amazing to say the least. You definitely take pride in your craft. Excellent and pristine detailing on your part.
I appreciate that!
Great video as always. Love the detail and minor defects being taken care of for the better result.
Hey what are those cables/wires around those cars in the shop?
That extra 10% is tough to get but you definitely brought it to the table Larry. It's a beautiful car, but I also have to comment on just how good your production values are. I really enjoy the format!
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Very well done! You always do an incredible job. I especially like the Barn Finds, before and after 20 years without ever being washed! Stay safe and healthy, my friend!
"Developed a reminder sound" - LOL! That is a very cool car. Great job, as usual!
I love that reminder sound you put when you are running low on product, that's a unique touch from AMMO!
Incredible workmanship!!!!! Absolutely flawless with the time and precision of detailing. Love the channel and keep up the great work!!
Thanks Andrew!
Hey Larry - On the topic of what to use on the wheel hubs to keep corrosion at bay and make it easier to remove in the future, I still stand by a light coat of copper anti seize. I do what you showed by cleaning it well of any existing corrosion, and then it's just a nice thin layer with the included brush on the hub and you'll never have issues. I've tried wiping some on with one of those blue shop towels (the roll like paper towels) on the brake rotor where the wheel sits, but I honestly don't think it does much. You don't want to leave an appreciable coating on the rotor, so I'd say just do the hub.
The nice thing is that a bottle of antisieze is not expensive and will last for a decade or more used like this. Cheap, easy, and super effective. My kind of deal. 😀
Another gem 💎 of a video, Larry.
Appreciated!
These cars are such works of ART! Well done Larry!
Man this will always be one of my dream Mercedes. I've always wanted one. They are amazing vehicles!
I always look forward to your latest content, Larry. Absolute professional. You can see how much passion you have for your work. 🙌🙌🙌
I just love Larry with the Benz's. Makes my day! Cheers buddy
Because of you Larry I have switched from using a wash mitt with two buckets to using multiple microfiber towels on my personal vehicles.
Watching the suds go down the grill was very satisfying.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and procedures. It's so helpful!
I was about to request this kind of detail since your recents have been all disaster details. Great job Larry, your doing it again! 🔥
Fluid Film is excellent Larry!!
Your customer owns Mercedes, Ferrari's and General Motors vehicles! That my friends is one very cool dude. Great video as usual Larry.
An amazing collection for sure!
You are the best Larry!
A professional at work.
insane amount of detail. cool vid
The way that white paint popped in the after video was ridiculous. It looks absolutely amazing my man.
I have a 2013 c250 which has a nearly identical interior to the c63's so this is a wildly helpful video!
Absolutely love my Diamond White C63. Still need to do the correction and coating on it!
I'm really glad that you stepped up your game content wise and in detailing as well.
Respect :)
That is some crazy detail mate...great video
Can't get enough of these videos!
Looking at the taillight to show what condition the white paint is likely also in was one of the smartest things I've seen. Total mindblower on that one.
Also, following along for that red, yellow, and blue light. I'd like to pick that up if you find it worth it.
love the added info for model specs!
Watching your videos inspires me to be as perfect as you in my detail business 🙏
Just washed my car with Foam and added the quarterly application of Ammo Skin, now relaxing to this. Looking forward to that Syclone, I always loved those. Thanks Larry!
What a machine. Love the M156 on that thing.
i never usually say this, but we need more of the PPF & window tint installations here, cause it is very satisfying
👌 😍 Excelente trabajo.. Saludos desde Paraguay 🇵🇾
Hell Yea! I can’t wait for the Syclone episode.
Great content Larry
I like how you did the tail lights and split it in half to show the difference that’s huge
Amazing video, as always
RESPECT!!! I don't have the patience for that kind of detail !!! You're definitely wired different than me !
Man that collection is beautiful!
Beautiful car - beautiful work!
That is one of the most amazing car collections I have ever seen…😮
What a beautiful car. Nice job Larry!
This baby is a beauty!! One my favorite cars ever!! Complete brut !
Man I freaking love this car. And damn, you did a hell of a job!!
Super video as always. Can’t wait to see the syclone
Great job . Can’t wait to see the syclone
His collection is crazy!! Props!
Again, very well done! 👏👏👏
Amazing job Larry. That car looks sooo good now
awsome as always
Dope video!🔥🔥
Anti Seize for the wheels has always worked great for me on mating surfaces. I use Fluid Film twice a year under my Jeep to prevent rust.
It's filthy great job love ya work mate
Detailing is soo therapeutic
Perfect way to end the video! Gotta love a Syclone!
absolute dream car. and you drove it. congrats.
Outstanding work!!! I will need to schedule time on your calendar, my car looks horrible...LOL :)
Graet job, Lary!
WOWW.... My Dream car getting sorted out what a pleasure to the eyes!!!!
That looked like a ton of fun!
Anti-seize for the lugs and rust around the hubs, works great to prevent some of that oxidation / corrosion.
It's gonna be a long comment about cleaning floor mats. It this video they are clean enough but I watch your channel for years and I wanted to share cleaning tip which I learned from my previous job. I was in detailing industry for nearly 10 years, at some stage I was working for a guy who had carpet cleaning as second business. The method he used was really amazing for car floor mats. Before applying any moisture to the floor mat he gave it quick vacuum clean and then flips the mat upside down and gives it a lot of vibrations. On big house carpets he used special carpet beater machine but for car floor mat, tornador is really good or just manual beating on the back of the mat. Using this method repeatedly removes way more debris than normal vacuum cleaning or tornador on the top of the floor mat. I was shocked how much dirt was hidden in the deep fibers of the mat.
After vibrating the floor mat upside-down, you flip it back, do another vacuum clean and then get to wet cleaning. That metod prevents from keeping the dirt at the deepest layers of the mat and makes for a much better clean and removal of bad smell. I would love if you would do a video comparing the metod which is most common, it is as you do it and the metod of dry dirt removing by vibrations.
awesome car great work!
As always awesome content thanks
A Car that Needed the Hands Of The GREAT "L" To perform an Absolute Mirror Of Perfection!!! And on a WHITE Mercedes Benz. The Car Look's STUNNING Larry. Something we all wish we had the Talent to do! (And the Facility) to do it in of Course. Great Video Larry. Thanks.
WOW ❤️❤️FANTASTIC JOB LARRY 👍👍THE MERCEDES IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 👍👍❤️❤️
What a car collection that client has! Thanks for sharing the video of the detailing process! 👍
Larry the GOAT.I think 99% of your viewers understand this process of this vs the average car...awesome video!!!
Great video as always. To get from that 98 to a 99 I would have had the silver wheel weights swapped over to black. Huge difference on black wheels. Keep up the great work.
Detailing is like art and people ask why so much for a detail there is a lot of labor that goes into and for me washing my car is like therapy
1:04 R. De Guiseppe has also built my CLS 55 AMG engine and its still running strong 😍
This is how I found ammonyc/Larry. I was looking for tips to keep my white c63 looking good and came across the black clk63 video that hadn’t been washed for a year or something!
You are the best Larry 👍
Amazing work on an amazing car. You rock Larry!!
Me and my brother uses some kind of copper spray between the hub and the wheels. Works fine for us, though we change wheels 2 times in a year (winter - summer tire requirement in Sweden).
Definitely excited about the syclone. I love the 1st gen s10/blazers. I've had 4 93/94 gmc jimmys
What an amazing collection, I hope he drives all of those beauties and doesn't just let them sit.
