I'am also about to build my own Valheim Caslte, its a lot of work to grind everything and of course its takes tim to just build. This is really lovely - I have my eye currently on a bit of Plains that has a very nice potential harbour, and I was thinking a rounded yard like yours. I love the detail you've put into it! I've also never seen floor-chests like you have, but they're a great idea. I may have to build some of those in.
I like especially that staircase of portals. Nice way to use space too.

That's a great base. You are at the same stage I am at roughly, but I have only used a small Plains island to make an offshore farm so far. I chose a base location in BF between a large Swamp and a massive Plains so apart from the farming it's super convenient. Maybe once I do Yagluth I will do a new build.

one year later: Is it not a problem with the distance to the coast? Is the enemy to near to the loxs, they will be aggressive, i think.
Wonderful building, like all another builds from you. You and other youtubers are the reason why I have invested almost 700 hours in the game. ;)
They sometimes run into the water, but there is a pretty big gap between there area and the rest of the plains. So mobs can’t run in and they can run out.
I wonder what your pc specs are because if my laptop had build this castle I would probably have like 15 Fps

I had to make the castle island but the lox island was mostly there

@@ckorni5942 it's not too bad, if you build 1 column with the hoe and position it right you can make another 1 the same height for the cost of 1 raise earth, instead of building from the ground up

Another awesome build! I surround my lox with stone walls and they still smash it and escape :(
you need to use earth walls to keep lox locked in. If an enemy approaches anything you've built the lox will smash it along with the walls so you have to be lucky with spawning if you don't use earth walls/holes

I have a widesceen 21:9 so everything is I record is in this Cinimatic aspect

I don’t really make guides cause it already takes so much time to build. So really sorry I can’t help you.
What hardware do you have to run so many building instances and still have a smooth framerate?
I have a pretty good pc because I also use it for work.
Nice castle, im curious how you went about making the circular wall though.
It is not that hard, just place a few stone blocks in a line (lets say 5) then rotate the next one 1 rotation and place 5 again. Keep doing this and you have a perfect circle
@@jjthebuilder yeah circular structures look nice but can be a pain to get lined up right.
